Pat McAfee breaks down the drama surrounding the Raiders!

In his recent episode, Pat McAfee elaborated on the talks engulfing the Raiders currently. He started by expressing how Mike Davis will probably only have one constant thought on his mind at the moment: “I’m sick of this.” McAfee was referring to the subpar performances of Davante Adams and Max Crosby this season, piling up problems for the owner of the side.

Addressing the sacking of Dave Ziegler and McDaniels further, McAfee commented on the two never seeing eye to eye with Davis. And on the owner not agreeing with the vision of the HC for the Raiders. McDaniels’ plan for the team did cause trouble for the side, especially with Derek Carr, Darren Waller, and Hunter Renfrow, and how some of these players were kicked out of the team.

However, the podcast host was also quick to mention the point of view of the management position holders, saying, “For them to have a lack of success that they’ve had, they’ve made some big swings and done some things to the core of the Las Vegas Raiders.”

The conversation extended on to how the Raiders moved the LB Coach and ex-Giant Antonio Pierce as the acting HC and said that he is an ‘old school’ guy. Not only this but there is some development with the QB1 situation in the team after the Raiders decided to make some changes to Jimmy Garoppolo’s contract.

The unhappy roster: The many failures of Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler

According to rumors flying around the NFL, the Raiders are looking at parting ways with QB Jimmy Garoppolo. This is because of his contract which offers him $11.25 million in case he gets injured. This is a guaranteed sum of money that he would get if he were to face physical harm.

Looks like the Raiders want to get rid of him before he contracts any sort of injury, even during training. Even though Garoppolo is not playing currently, he is still allowed to use the practice facility as he pleases, and he can still get injured in that time.

Another problem with the Raiders’ roster is their WR1 Davante Adams, whom they have not utilized to the best of his abilities. Adams has a potential that the Raiders failed to tap into and now, it is costing them. He was seen throwing his helmet in frustration during the Detroit Lions game, depicting a situation of trouble within the team.

Another person in this equation is Josh Jacobs, who is also fed up with the team’s offense and says that it’s not ‘his job’ to fix it. While the news continues to pour from the Raiders’ end, how do you think the new changes will pave out for the team? Let us know in the comments.
