If you thought that Aaron Rodgers had run out of steam, think again! In just the fourth play of his debut game with the New York Jets, A-Rod tore his Achilles. He crashed out of the season and spent most of the 2023 season recovering. However, he surprised medical experts and even fans with his fast recovery, that too at his age.

And if you needed proof that he’s made an almost-full recovery, @proactivesp’s Instagram page shared pictures of him besting a player a decade younger than him at racing. But the real question is whether he won or lost the race against the Broncos LB. A-Rod might not be as fast as the “Cheetah”, but he’s not fully out of gas either.

We might never dare to call A-Rod old, but the 40-year-old called himself old on his Instagram story. He had shared the post by @proactivesp showing him and Broncos LB Alex Singleton racing against each other at Proactive Sports Performance. Rodgers had captioned his story, “Old guy won 😁😁 @alexsingleton49”. Mind you, Singleton is a decade younger than Rodgers at 30!

The training grounds at Proactive Sports Performance buzzed with energy as elite athletes like Daniel Hardy, Terrell Burgess, Andre Cisco, Ronnie Stanley, and Adetomiwa Adebawore joined the ranks for the off-season training camp. Since 2006, Proactive has been known for its customized programming, cutting-edge workouts, and dynamic atmosphere that pulsates with vigor.

This will no doubt send a potent message to skeptics who doubted the potential for a strong comeback of Aaron Rodgers.

Marc Ross unsure of an A-Rod comeback

Marc Ross, a two-time Super Bowl victor with the New York Giants, recently voiced his doubts about Aaron Rodgers’ post-injury performance during an interview. Ross articulated his skepticism regarding the QB’s ability to regain his top form, especially considering Rodgers’ age and the severity of his Achilles injury. “I just have a hard time believing that a 40-year-old coming off an Achilles will play at the level.”

However, who can blame him? The four-time NFL MVP himself has pondered the potential end of his career, revealing on the I Can Fly podcast the profound impact of his injury. “I was heartbroken on September 11th in the locker room thinking my career might be over and that’s how I’m gonna go out,” confessed Rodgers.

With the 2024 season on the horizon, Rodgers faces not just physical recovery but also the task of silencing skeptics, including himself. As he prepares for his return, the NFL world watches closely to see if this storied athlete can defy the odds and enhance his already illustrious career.
