Chase Brown emerged as one of the best running backs for the Bengals in the 2024 season. In the week 4 game against the Panthers, the only win of the Bengals this season, he made 15 catches for 80 yards with 2 touchdowns. However, fans were worried when the RB revealed that he was having a quadriceps injury. He didn’t practice on Wednesday and Thursday. But wait, there’s a twist!

The RB missed 4 games last season because of a hamstring injury he sustained in practice after week 7. Hence; he learned the importance of good physical condition. In the offseason this year, Chase Brown worked on his body with a trainer, masseur, and physical therapist.

Coming into the season, he talked about his offseason training and said, “It’s investing in the craft, investing in my body. I think that’s where people are wrong, a little bit (in the offseason). They focus a little too much on the extracurriculars, travel, all that.” With that, fans can expect him to play longer and better.

However, one thing to keep in mind is that both teams will be playing without many key offensive players.

Apart from Chase Brown, these are inactive players from the Bengals vs Giants clash

The Giants would be without receivers Malik Nabers and Bryce Ford-Wheaton, quarterback Tommy DeVito, and RB Devin Singletary. Nabers suffered a concussion in the week 4 game against the Dallas Cowboys. Though the team hasn’t put him on IR, today will 2nd consecutive game in which he is not playing. During the preseason game against Jets, Tommy DeVito was sacked 8 times after which he has played no game in the 2024 season yet.

The Bungles don’t have WR Jermaine Burton and TE Tanner McLachlan. The team has shown more confidence in Chase Brown than in both rookies. Overall, it makes more sense now as the team is struggling with a 1-4 win-loss record in the season.

The Giants have a much better record with a 2-3 record. All hopes of Who Dey Nation depend on Joe Burrow, Chase Brown, and other offensives. Can they do it? We’ll find out soon.
