With the flying start the Pittsburgh Steelers got off to, they seemed unbeatable at the start of the season. Cut to the present day and they’re on a two-game losing-streak, and not even top of their division. No, the Ravens hold that distinction. And with their injury record, things aren’t looking great against the Las Vegas Raiders either.

It’s not all bad news, though, with running back Jaylen Warren ready to play. Warren was on the questionable list just two days ago, so his removal from the injury report is a positive sign. He initially suffered an injury to his knee during the Week 3 game against the Chargers.

The Steelers’ offense is still hobbled though, with 6 injuries in total across the team. Tight end MyCole Pruitt will be out of the game with a knee injury, same as running back Cordarrelle Patterson. Not to mention they’re still technically relying on their second-choice quarterback, Justin Fields.

Veteran quarterback Russell Wilson came on with a one-year contract this year, eager to play. This was after the Denver Broncos had benched him last season, fearful of invoking his injury clause. As he has finally recovered from his calf injury, which kept him out of play this season, the Steelers will have a tough choice on their hands. However, it feels like the veteran QB is ready to be the guy under center if HC Tomlin wishes to utilize him.

Who’s got the edge in the Steelers-Raiders game?

The Las Vegas Raiders have been a bit iffy all season. Morale could only have gotten worse after the whole Davante Adams fiasco. Plus, they just lost against the Broncos, who the Steelers managed to crush in their game.

The two teams have played 32 games against each other, with the Raiders leading 17-15. But the Steelers have beat them in their last two matchups, and with their desperation to get back on a winning streak, they’re our favorites this Sunday.

Fields will be eager to prove himself and lock in his place in the team. Especially after his disappointing performances in the last two games. We’ll have to see how things turn out.
