Tyjae Spears did not have a successful year in 2024. The RB has had multiple injuries and is presently sidelined with one. The RB sustained a hamstring injury in week 6, causing him to miss weeks 7–9. He recovered in week 10,10, but suffered a concussion in week 11. This was a devastating knock to his head, which caused him to miss week 12. But the real question is: will he play in week 13?

It appears that Titans fans will finally get to see the Spears-Pollard duo again this season. This year, Spears has 43 receptions for 161 yards and 1 touchdown in 7 games. Well, these are only average figures, and everyone understands that the RB is far more capable.
Interestingly, the RB before coming to the Titans had another plan for the NFL in his mind. He wanted to join another big team.

Tyjae Spears wanted to be with the New Orleans Saints
Growing up in New Orleans, it’s obvious that Spears was a huge admirer of the Saints. After entering the NFL draft, he had great hopes that the Saints would draft him. However, this did not occur, and it caused the RB to get hurt. Following a normal media appearance, the man explained everything and stated, “I ain’t gonna lie, I’m gonna keep it real. I was so, so hurt that they didn’t draft me.”

However, being selected by the Titans was also a significant achievement for him. Tyjae Spears stated that while this was not the team he had hoped for but he was grateful to have the opportunity to perform on such a large stage: “I’m blessed. I’m used to this position, I’m right where I need to be. My family inside the building, my family at home, I’m good, man.”
Due to numerous injuries, Spears has yet to play at his top form. He has already sustained two injuries this year, as well as a near miss with a shoulder. It will be intriguing to see what the RB can achieve now that he is back and consistent on the field. Until then, stick with us for more NFL updates.
