The Pittsburgh Steelers managed to get a dominating 17-10 win against the Baltimore Ravens in the absence of Lamar Jackson and Odell Beckham Jr. Mason Rudolph had an amazing game against the Baltimore team and is “grateful” for getting the chance to play in the league, and safe to say, it was worth it.

Rudolph was taken hold by a sideline reporter and was briefly asked about his experience of the game. Despite TJ Watt taking an early hit and getting ruled out of the game, Rudolph handled himself and the team with utter poise. It was his 3 game with the team this season and he has proved that he can take the reins of this Steelers team in Kenny Pickett’s absence.

Mason Rudolph acquired quite a name for himself after leading the Steelers to a couple of wins this season. The reporter asked the QB how he felt after winning the game since he hasn’t got a lot of chances to play as a starter with the Steelers. She also asked him whether he thought he did justice to the chance that was given to him.

“I’ve achieved my dream no matter what,” said Rudolph for the chance he got to play in the NFL. Whether he will play again, full-time as a starter or not, Rudolph seemed quite grateful that he received the opportunity. Proving his mettle in the absence of their star LB and starting QB has been quite rewarding for the Steelers quarterback.

Rudolph then thanked his teammates and appreciated the “big win on the road”. He completed 18 out of his 20 passes over 152 yards, and came out with a TD and a 90% pass completion rate, all in the absence of TJ Watt, who was responsible for two sacks today. In the overall scenario, Gus Edwards’ fumble turned out to be a nightmare for the Ravens as the Steelers grabbed an unanticipated victory.

TJ Watt took the hit from his teammate in the 3 quarter and was ruled out of a knee injury. By the fourth quarter, his return to the field was a closed chapter. The Steelers controlled the ball for nearly 35 minutes straight and it was all the time Najee Harris needed to complete his 1,000 season yards. This was the 3 time in 3 seasons! He had a 6-yard TD run and ran the ball 26 times over 152 yards.

The second TD came from an epic 71-yard pass from Rudolph to Diontae Johnson in the 4 quarter, giving the Steelers a much-needed lead. Chris Boswell drew the final points of the game with a 25-yard FG. All in all, it was a good day for the Steelers, but it’s still not set in stone whether we will see the side in the playoffs or not.

As reported by NBC, there are three possible scenarios for the Steelers to make it to the playoffs. If the Jaguars lose to or tie the Titans, if the Bills lose to the Dolphins, or if the Colts and Texans game ends in a tie.

One take at a time

Basketball has stuck with me ever since I was a kid. I remember watching Kobe Bryant sometime in 2008 and being blown away. Like every kid my age, I was utterly taken aback by his moves and abilities as an athlete.
