Patrick Mahomes has made another fan for himself, and that too from his rival team! Remember the Christmas Day Week 16 game of the 2023 NFL season? The Las Vegas Raiders won against the Kansas City Chiefs, building a barrier between the KC team and their AFC West title for the 2023 season.

The Chiefs had a hard time during the game, making mistakes like turning over the ball at important times. However, still, Jack Jones continues to have a high word of praise for the Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, ultimately turning into a fan of the QB.

In a recent Instagram Live, Jack Jones revealed his fan-favorite moment, addressing Patrick Mahomes’ skills. The host, Chris Kimber, of the Protect The Shield Podcast, highlighted Jones’ statements on how the athlete became a fan of Mahomes, by sharing his IG live video. Although the Chiefs didn’t win the Christmas game in Week 16 against Jones’ team, the cornerback shared some on-field moments with his fans, revealing how it seemed that the quarterback was almost coming back in the game. He said that Mahomes has more ability than Lamar Jackson and even Tom Brady, as he recalled the Week 16 clash of the last season.

Jones expressed, “He passes the ball so efficient bro and then his facilitating his far is breaking down bro I can’t make it up bro and what made me believe it bro is when we played against them, boys in KC in Christmas game, we was up bro, we scored two tubs and 7 seconds on defense. Patrick Mahomes almost came back by himself and beat us bro, I saw that bro, I’m on the field it was one play. I turned into a fan on the field. It was one play bro I saw that boy run around like a couple times…

Furthermore, the Raiders cornerback believes Patrick Mahomes is the greatest QB ever, ranking him above Lamar Jackson and even Tom Brady. In a viral video making rounds on the internet, Jones could be seen tagging Jackson as the best Rushing QB and Brady as the greatest Passing QB. But matters turned interesting when he highlighted Mahomes to be the best overall and in all departments. This isn’t the first time when Jones said good things about Mahomes. A couple of days before becoming his fan, Jones revealed that he and his team made a special plan designed for last December’s game.

Jack Jones didn’t face Patrick Mahomes during his time with the Patriots. However, in his second game with the Raiders, he had to go up against Mahomes and the Chiefs. Facing Mahomes gave Jones insight into how to succeed against the defending Champions.

Before his Week 16 game, he emphasized, “We not worried about them. It’s Patrick Mahomes we got to stop. The magician. You stop the magician and the act is over.” And the Raiders somehow managed to stop Mahomes from defeating his team 14-20, however, still his running and passing ability made the cornerback a fan of his.

While stopping Mahomes is a common goal for teams, it’s important to note that despite stopping him, the Chiefs still have done wonders, especially due to their defensive line in the last season.
