WR Brian Thomas Jr. got excited while talking with reporters after the game. “I saw it live, I was watching it, I didn’t know what happened, I just heard the crowd start going crazy. I was like, what’s happening? Then I looked back and saw it happen. Hey, it was ugly, but hey, we got the job done,” he said.

It was their first victory against the Chiefs since 2009. Alo, it was the closest margin of victory in their games since the last Jaguars victory. When Travis Hunter came to the post-game conference, he was also excited.

“In the middle of the play, I was just running my route. I looked back, I seen him on the ground, so I just looked back, looked away, then I looked back again, and he was getting up scoring. So I was just confused…So, I was just happy, excited,” the rookie WR/CB admitted.

Another highlight of the game was Devin Lloyd, who recorded a 99-yard interception return. It was the longest pick-six in Jaguars history. So, when he came to the post-game conference, the reporters asked about his reaction to Lawrence’s game-winning TD. “Like, get up, get up, get up immediately. And somehow found a way into the end zone. That’s when you know God has his hand on this team,” he said about the score.
