This was a pretty busy week for the Jacksonville Jaguars two-way player, Travis Hunter. It was game day against the Seattle Seahawks, and before that, it was his baptism day. The rookie just shared a very special moment from that day on his social media.

And his wife, Leanna Lenne was quick to show support for her husband. “A huge party is going on in heaven, celebrating your decision,” Lenne wrote in the comments section. “THIS is your greatest achievement to me.” Praise and support of a life partner who is there through thick and thin. Calling it the greatest achievement of all that he has done adds a superior weight to the baptism and his faith in God.

Hunter got baptized at Celebration Church in Jacksonville on the day before the game. “It’s Sunday. It’s God’s day. I’ve been planning to go get baptized for a minute,” Hunter said of his decision. “I changed my life over to become a better man.”

The same video was initially shared by fellow churchgoer Tim Timberlake, who was also involved in the ceremony, much like Hunter’s wife. Timberlake also commented on the post. “Love you!!” Tim wrote. “This right here is what winning at what matters most looks like.”

Lenne can also be seen in the clip. Both Hunter and his wife are very supportive of each other. Back when Hunter won the Heisman Trophy, Lenne was criticized by the fans for not standing up right away after the player’s name was called.

Many, including WNBA player Angel Reese, took to social media to defend her. Hunter also took a stand for his then fiancée. “Me & You,” he wrote in one post showing a picture of the two together. He shared another where he called her a  “queen.”

“You’re talking about my girl,” Hunter called out the critics in a video. “Go talk about your girl. Go find a girl. Go find a life.” He further added, “We’re inseparable.”

The two got married in May 2025 and welcomed their first child this August. So, for this special day, the player had the support of his wife as well as his fans, who poured immense love in the comments section.

The Jaguars and Hunter incurred a tough defeat from the Seahawks

Next on the game day, he caught four passes for 15 yards while playing a season-high 61 offensive snaps. He also saw action on defense for 22 snaps, recording two tackles.

Unfortunately, the team couldn’t clinch a win against the Seahawks as they fell 20-12 in Week 6. The Jaguars quarterback, Trevor Lawrence, had 258 yards on 27-of-42 passing and had two touchdowns. Wide receiver Brian Thomas had the season-best game with 8 catches on 10 targets for 90 yards and a touchdown.

Despite best efforts, the team lost. The team struggled with their offensive line, allowing 33 pressures on the QB, including seven unblocked, as per Pro Football Focus. Trevor Lawrence came into Sunday’s matchup having been sacked just six times in Jacksonville’s first five games, but the Seahawks flipped that script by bringing him down seven times in a single outing.

The pressure was especially crucial given Seattle’s depleted secondary, which struggled early with multiple coverage miscommunications on Jacksonville’s first scoring drive, allowing the Jaguars to jump out to an early lead. However, the Seahawks steadily tightened their grip, keeping Lawrence under constant duress throughout the game. Four of the seven sacks came in the second half, helping force three consecutive punts to close out the contest.

The Jaguars will look to avoid these troubles when they face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7
