Football fans wasted no time turning Cam Little’s record-setting moment into viral humor. On Sunday, the Jacksonville Jaguars kicker drilled a stunning 68-yard field goal against the Las Vegas Raiders – the longest in NFL history. But soon after, a parody account named “Cam Little 🐐” shared a picture of a supposed NFL drug-test notice for Little.

The picture of the drug test form attached to the post showed all the usual details, including: “Name: Cam Little. Date: 11/02/25. You have been selected by the NFL drug-testing program’s Independent Administrator to complete a performance-enhancing substances test today. Please report to the drug-test area ASAP to meet with the Doping Control O-(DCO) and discuss the testing process. Valid government-issued or team-issued photo identification is required.”

The parody account also added a playful caption: “LMAO already??” Fans quickly jumped on the post, with some even thinking that it’s real. One fan even tagged the league to ask, “You guys made sure he’s all clear before posting this?”

But then Brian McCarthy, from the NFL league office, quoted the fan’s question to write: “That’s fake.”

As such, the NFL official made it clear to everyone that Cam Little’s historic leg strength is completely natural. While Cam Little’s drug test rumor spread online, it also echoed moments in NFL history when players scored big, only to receive random drug-test notices. Recently, Pittsburgh Steelers LB Payton Wilson got hit with a drug test immediately after his team won against the Indianapolis Colts

Can you blame the league? Payton Wilson played like a machine. He stacked up 14 tackles, including 10 solo stops, defended 2 passes, and grabbed 1 interception. The linebacker even tipped a ball that turned into another pick. That kind of performance raises eyebrows – and apparently triggers testing protocols. Steelers LB Patrick Queen made sure everyone knew the moment happened

“He’s got a freaking drug test,” Queen stated. “I told him, that comes when you ballin.”

So, the timing of Cam Little’s parody post, just hours after his record-setting kick, made the rumor too irresistible for fans not to believe in.

Cam Little breaks the record for field goals in the NFL

In Week 9, the Jaguars needed something special to beat the Raiders. So, with the team down 23–20 in the final seconds of the second quarter, the Raiders’ kicker delivered a 68-yard field goal that left Allegiant Stadium in awe. The kick helped the Jaguars secure a close 30–29 victory, adding crucial points toward their fifth win of the season.

Little’s field goal also surpassed former Ravens kicker Justin Tucker’s 66-yard record set in 2021. In the post-game press conference, Little then stated that he wanted to be 100% before celebrating his record-breaking kick.

“Once Logan [Cooke] threw his arms up, like he’s done that twice now, I kind of had an idea that it was going in,” Cam Little said. “So, you know, you go so far back, and that ball takes a long time for it to get there. So, you don’t want to ever celebrate too early before the kick goes in. And so, once I saw it clear the crossbar, obviously that’s when I knew that it was good.”

Since being drafted 212th overall last year, Cam Little has made 40 field goals in 25 games. He had already impressed in the 2025 preseason with a 70-yard kick against the Steelers. But preseason kicks don’t count as official records. Still, Little’s resilience paid off, and he now stands as one of the league’s record-holders. His performance also set a new standard for NFL kickers.
