Chase, who suffered an injury in his shoulder will miss the next game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Whether the injury would extend beyond that point is too early to say right now. However, his MRI has confirmed a break from the gridiron at the moment.

Chase played till 4th quarter and led all the receivers with 64 yards before he got injured in his right shoulder and was ruled out. He suffered a separated shoulder, which may be an AC sprain (an injury to the ligaments in the shoulder).

A tweet on X has raised some questions about this analysis of this injury.

Facts about Chase’s injury take a turn

For now, per Zach Taylor, Chase is taking in on a day-to-day basis. Jeff Mueller a Doctor of Physical Therapy and an Injury analyst writes that a ‘shoulder separation’, which was the initial analysis of his situation turned to a ‘mild AC sprain’ and how the two are very different from each other.

The “day to day” reports never made sense when the “shoulder separation” news came out prior. A mild AC sprain is not a shoulder separation. Ja’Marr Chase’s fantasy season is probably done.
