The latest Tom Brady roast has set the internet on fire! Shots were fired left and right on the Netflix special, ‘The Roast of Tom Brady,’ from a panel of comedians and friends from the league. And the digs weren’t just at the New England Patriots legend but also at his personal and professional life.

Among the tongue-in-cheek jokes were topics like Brady’s divorce, his double defeat at the hands of Eli Manning, and the Deflategate scandal. But the ex-quarterback handled the punches valiantly, with true sportsmanship spirit. Being on the receiving end of jabs and taking center stage can surely be daunting, and Jason Kelce couldn’t agree more!

In a roast, nothing is off the table, and what follows is a melee of laughs and gasps. The latest New Heights podcast had the Kelces discussing the talk of the town. While the NFL brothers enjoyed Brady’s roast, Jason couldn’t help but wonder how a person could take on the daring endeavor.

It was pure entertainment, and I’m really happy they did it -I just do not get roasts. I don’t understand why people do ’em,” confessed the older Kelce. He also wondered if he takes himself “too seriously” and went on to appreciate the “star-studded” event and the celebrities who participated. But Jason still couldn’t overcome his initial question!

That being said, I really don’t f***ing get it.” Pointing out how personal shots are taken in a roast, the former Eagles star joked, “Ha ha ha ha. Yeah, my family’s ruined. It’s so funny.

Travis appreciated how the former seven-time Super Bowl winner took the roasts like a champ. “Tom was a good f***ing sport about it, knowing that he was taking some fucking aggressive strays, man,” said Travis. While Jason was quite appalled at the nature of roasts, when the former center heard that Brady made 30 million off the special, he changed his stance! “Alright, I take it back; I’ll do the roast.” The Kelce brothers also discussed who they would want as their roasters in a “hypothetical world.

Both the Kelce brothers agreed on Brady’s roast’s “entertainment” value. While Jason can’t imagine why someone would want to put themselves through the ordeal, he discussed Travis and who they would want to roast them with. “Who would you, let’s say in this hypothetical world, that we agreed to do something as ridiculous as a roast?

While Travis chose Dave Chappelle and Kevin Hart as his top choices, Jason opined he would choose someone he’ll feel comfortable throwing punches at, and not the comedic ones! “I would pick people that like I would not have a problem getting into a fistfight with.” The retired NFL star chose his family members to roast him and joked that if his father roasts him, there’ll be a fight incoming behind the scenes. “Like family members. Like, you know, Dad roasts me, but I’m gonna beat the sh*t out of Dad when the camera turns off.

Travis responded that it would be a Tom and Jerry-like scenario, with the TE running from his older brother’s wrath. The one person who Kelce wouldn’t allow on stage, however, would be his wife, Kylie! According to him, “Every day, I’m getting roasted by Kylie. I don’t need her to go up on the stage and do that.”

While Tom Brady’s roast was loved by some and criticized by others, we can trust the Kelce brothers to provide some light-hearted banter about any situation. Fans would love to see them try out a roast in the future, but extra security would be needed when Jason Kelce steps on stage!
