If any rookie has performed really well up to the expectations, that has to be Jayden Daniels. He has been breaking records this year. In September 2024, he was also selected as the Offensive Rookie of the Month. But the week 7 game brought unexpected challenges. Against the Panthers on October 20, 2024, he suffered a rib injury in the first quarter, after which he was ruled out for the entire game.

NFL also knows that fans are waiting for the showdown between the rookies. That’s why it changed the schedule of the BearsCommanders game and gave it the prime time slot of 4:25 ET. However, the reason behind postponing the game might not be completed, as Daniels is still dealing with the rib injury. It might cause heartbreaks.

In 7 games, Jayden Daniels has 127 of 168 passes (75.6% completion) with 1,410 passing yards and 6 touchdowns. On the other hand, Williams has 13 of 199 passes (65.3% completion) with 1,317 passing yards and 9 touchdowns. However, the latter has only 2 interceptions, while the latter already has 3 more interceptions.
