Falling to the Houston Texans 34-10 at home meant the Cowboys are now 3-7 in a season that was supposed to break their playoff hoodoo. After handing a quarter of a billion dollars to their star players, like CeeDee Lamb ($136M) and Dak Prescott ($240M) over the summer, it was reasonable for the Cowboys to expect them to repay that faith this year. But what’s the result? Prescott is out for the season with a hamstring injury, while Lamb was found partying just hours after a blowout loss to the Texans.

As soon as Lamb and defensive back Trevon Diggs’ partying videosthat also looked like a music video shootwent viral, Cowboys Nation was divided on their post-game antics. The most scathing attack came from former NFL TE Shannon Sharpe. Expressing his thoughts on the NightCap podcast with Chad Ochocinco, Sharpe questioned the Cowboys’ leadership, “That’s why your Cowboys s— because two of their best players. This is what they’re doing. That shows you how much the game of football mean to them. That s*** told me everything I need to know.”

He also revealed what he would have done in their boots: “I would’ve left the stadium with a bag over my head!” He went on to finish his take by calling them a disgruntled franchise with no leaders: “That is the problem that the Cowboys have. They’re devoid of leadership from top to bottom.”

“It’s disrespectful. It’s disrespectful to the fans who pay their hard-earned money. But you know what, it couldn’t happen to a better franchise. Because all that owner do is run his mouth and talk about what they’re gonna do … And all their players do, because they take it from the owner, is run their mouth — and they ain’t won dog cr**. None of them!” Sharpe finally concluded.

On the contrary, Jerry Jones’ son, Stephen Jones remains unfazed. Sharing his thoughts on 105.3 The Fan, the Cowboys EVP remained unbothered. “No, I mean, they’re going to work each and every week to make plays in the field. We obviously got to continue to do better. But no, that doesn’t concern me,” he said. It seems the Cowboys’ hierarchy isn’t interested in their players’ personal lives away from gridiron duties, and they hardly care about the criticism.

Notably, this comes days after the winning team’s social media page decided to remind their Week 11 opponents of the massive L they received, quite literally. They edited the piece of metal (that fell when the AT&T Stadium’s retractable roof was being opened before the game on Monday) into the shape of an “L”—a dig that the Cowboys won’t take too kindly.

Add that to the criticism their star player Lamb has been receiving, and things look far from good, to be honest.

Fans call out the Cowboys after CeeDee Lamb’s clubbing video goes viral

On the day when the Cowboys are heading toward an early season debacle, the players were supposed to step up and produce what was expected of them. However, the Cowboys function differently as fans questioned the team’s mentality, “The Dallas Cowboys are not a serious football operation.” Their frustration didn’t stop with those calls,

Some also urged for a boycott, “They don’t care, so neither should anyone who is a fan of this team. All the empty seats last night were encouraging. Let’s keep not showing up, just like them.”

Amid all those criticisms, one of them jumped into their defense while calling them losers, “I know y’all want to criticize this, but I don’t. If you have a bad day at work, do you go home and cry? No, of course not. Losers are allowed to have fun too.”

Well, there was another who blamed Jerry Jones and Co, “Good for them. They can only control what they can control. Having a terrible owner shouldn’t bring them down lol.”

As the fans continued to torch the Cowboys for their antics after an embarrassing defeat, it seems like the mood around Dallas is at an all-time low. But hey! CeeDee Lamb and Trevon Diggs have moved on. So good for them, I guess.
