The New York Jets had an awful Sunday. They were already losing badly to the Buffalo Bills, down 30-3 in the fourth quarter, when things got worse. Jets star QB Justin Fields took a really hard hit from the Bills’ defensive end Joey Bosa, and his head snapped back and hit the ground hard. That ended the Jets’ drive and maybe Fields’ game for the day.

CBS Sports sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson shared on the broadcast that Fields was being evaluated for a concussion. He went straight to the medical tent to get checked for a concussion, and then he was seen heading to the locker ro

Veteran backup Tyrod Taylor, who used to play for the Bills as well back in 2015-2017, came in to replace him on the next drive. Before leaving the game, Fields struggled in the game, completing just 3 out of 11 passes for 27 yards. With the Jets losing badly and Fields possibly sidelined by this concussion, the team has a lot to fix on offense whenever he can return.

He later took on the field with a gauze up his nose.

It is very important for the Jets to get Fields back on the ground as early as possible. Fields are now 0-2 with two consecutive defeats. This is a wake-up call for the Jets HC, Aaron Glenn, to work on his backups being ready and sound for any uncertainties. The defense must tighten up against both the run and pass and create more turnovers to disrupt opposing offenses. The Jets will fly to Tampa Bay for their match next week against the Buccaneers with winning aspirations.
