This season hasn’t been favorable for Aaron Rodgers so far! And in the Week 5 game against the Vikings, Rodgers had a rough day at the office, delivering one of his worst performances ever. With an alarming first half, it seems the quarterback has been struggling because of the pressure, age, and injuries!

While A-Rod struggles to perform well, several Jets players have raised eyebrows at some major issues. As per NFL reporter Connor Hughes’ X post, it was a challenging game for the Super Bowl winner QB. He talked to the players “who mentioned jet lag as a concern going into this game.

The post read, “Felt traveling on Monday might have been better — would allow them to acclimate to London time.” While the team’s offense was weak, players felt it was because of the temporary sleep disorder. They believe if they traveled a day earlier, the Jets might have flown higher. And that’s not all!

The Super Bowl MVP’s poor passing accuracy was a big concern. A-Rod managed to rack up just 95 yards and tossed two interceptions—one of which was taken back for a touchdown. Ouch! That’s definitely not the kind of stat line anyone wants to see, especially from the star player. And Aaron Rodgers has been facing backlash for the same!

Aaron Rodgers has a tough day on the field

Rodgers managed only 95 yards in the first half, completing just three passes for a mere 16 yards and earning a shocking passer rating of 2.8. This was the first time in his career he threw two interceptions in the first quarter, leaving the Jets trailing 17-7 at halftime.

Analysts quickly started criticizing A-Rod for hitting rock bottom. Reporter Rich Cimini put a question on the team’s efforts when they couldn’t even score their first TD. He said “Jets look terrible. Dont even have a first down yet.” And that’s not all!

While X was flooded with the four-time MVP’s criticism, a former Super Bowl winner reacted to all the bad talks. TE Andrew Quarless took A-Rod’s side and mentioned how great he is as a leader. He said, “Once I got to really understand him as a player, it’s kind of like a billionaire.

The Jets’ offensive line didn’t do Rodgers any favors, failing to provide adequate protection, which compounded his issues in the pocket. With the weight of expectations on his shoulders, this performance fell short for a player of his caliber. While Aaron isn’t Rodgering the way he Rodgered, let’s see what the future holds for him and the Jets!
