Las Vegas RaidersJimmy Garoppolo finds himself in a fix following suspension. Found guilty of violating the NFL’s Performance Enhancing Substances Policy, the quarterback has been suspended for two games of the upcoming 2024 season, according to ESPN. The suspension comes after the quarterback reportedly used prescribed medications without having a valid therapeutic use exemption. Apart from getting a blotch on his career and the Raiders’ missing their vital QB, Garoppolo might be facing a heavy drain on his pocket as well.

The Raiders’ QB might be in facing a situation where his $11.25 million base salary could be nullified. This heavy dent in his pay would stand regardless of whether he stays or leaves the team. After the news of the suspension,  we can expect Garoppolo to enter his second consecutive year as a free agent.
