NFL insider, Jordan Schultz, also congratulated the couple through an X post. “Congrats to #Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy and his high school sweetheart/fiancée Katya Kuropas on the announcement of their first child together!” he wrote, dropping a red heart plus blessing hands emojis.

JJ McCarthy, who left a notable impression on Michigan with a 27-1 record as a starter QB, proposed his longtime gf Katya Kuropas for becoming his forever life partner last year. After dating for five years, the duo exchanged their engagement rings on 19 January 2024.

At this moment, they shared multiple images of their special moments through their joint IG account. And, the seaside backdrop of their pictures was really lovely. “Me, You & Marley Forever & Ever,” they mentioned in their post caption, adding a white heart and the sparkles emoji.

Amazingly, their engagement announcement post came after two weeks, and McCarthy clinched the national championship ring with the Wolverines. Impressively, the couple’s social media posts are a testament to their strong chemistry. On every special occasion, they express their love for each other.

Back on January 20, when JJ McCarthy turned 22 years old, his fiancée’s special birthday tribute drew significant attention. Prior to training camp, the Vikings’ HC Kevin O’Connell put McCarthy on notice. Vikings, which finished the 2024 NFL season with a record of 14-3, made a decision that would test McCarthy’s ability to deal with media and fan pressure before the season begins.

Besides this, on May 19, O’Connell’s team also confirmed that they will host the Patriots and QB Drake Maye for joint training this offseason. So, this is going to be more interesting.

Impressively, Maye appeared to be the Vikings’ most valuable player, since Minnesota had looked through the 2024 quarterback selection class to find a replacement for Kirk Cousins.

As per the SI report, the Vikings tried to trade up to acquire Patriots QB Maye, but New England turned down the offer and chose him instead. NFL QB Maye was chosen third overall, behind Jayden Daniels and Williams. However, after the Falcons selected Michael Penix Jr. at No. 8 overall, the Vikings raced to be the next in line, moving up from No. 11 to No. 10 to acquire McCarthy.
