Behind every successful man, there is a woman: It seems JJ McCarthy will agree with this saying. QB McCarthy, who was picked No. 10 overall in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings, is aiming for a great rookie season with his team. Naturally, that would require him to get familiar with the team’s offense in quick time. And that’s where his fiancee, Katya Kuropas, has been helping him.

On Tuesday, MLFootball took to its official X handle to reveal how. They mentioned, “NEWS: #Vikings rookie QB JJ McCarthy reviews the playbook & play names with his fiancée Katya Kuropas every night. It has helped JJ pick up the offense very quickly.”

Five days after the Vikings traded No. 11, 129, and 157 for JJ on April 25, Kuropas posted a wholesome bunch of pictures. We saw a happy couple and a family of three, including a golden retriever puppy, smiling away at the camera. She captioned it while throwing a pigskin and purple team color along with it, “a dream come true.

JJ dutifully responded, “Wouldn’t be here without youuu.”

The couple has been together since 2018, and frankly, this isn’t the only time McCarthy has openly claimed his love for his fiance. Back in 2020, he showed his gratitude towards her, saying, “They say, once a man finds the right woman for him, he can accomplish anything… I am blessed and thankful for finding the right one for me at such a young age,” he wrote on Instagram back then.

Further, they even prevailed over some challenging times. The couple started dating when the athlete was a sophomore at Nazareth Academy (Illinois). However, McCarthy transferred to IMG Academy in Florida and that’s where he wanted to finish his high school football career. Despite this development, their relationship lived on.

When Kuropas couldn’t stop cheering for McCarthy!

In January 2024, the couple’s unique celebratory moment went viral during a Michigan vs. Washington Huskies game. Michigan garnered its first national championship title against the Huskies since 1997. It was an emotional moment for every Michigan player. Consequently, McCarthy displayed his emotions by kissing his then-girlfriend/now-fiancee after securing the grand victory.

The couple celebrating the milestone event grabbed the hearts of many in the stadium. Kuropas took to her Instagram to cherish the moment. “I’m so proud of you, my love. Words can’t describe. You did it!” she gushed in her caption. McCarthy replied, “Wouldn’t be here without you.

Besides that, Katya’s Instagram post about McCarthy’s amazing past season also took the internet by storm. Just a day before the 2024 NFL Draft, Kuropas cheered for her fiancé by sharing a carousel of images on Instagram. The post featured his splendid playing for Michigan. “Extremely delayed but… Reminiscing on how amazing this past season was. An abundance of blessings and the best memories. Feeling so grateful for everything that unfolded & for everyone that was part of it!! Sad to see this chapter go, but excited for the next one,” McCarthy’s fiancée penned in her caption.

Hence, the future spouse indeed signifies the undeniable love that has captured the hearts of millions of fans. What do you think?
