Dobbs then again returned to the Browns after being traded to the Cardinals, where he finally got a chance to start for a while. After that, he was traded to the Vikings last year but eventually got benched. Recently, he has been with his dream team, the Niners, as a backup to Purdy, whom he respects a lot.

Josh Dobbs admires Passtronaut for being nearly unstoppable

In a recent interview on The Adam Schefter Podcast, Josh Dobbs, also known as Passtronaut, revealed why he wanted to be the 49er. But before that, he praised Brock Purdy, expressing, “He plays like efficient football, like we played him in Arizona, and that’s why I would respect him so much. I think we only stopped him once. I think it was like 31 or 34, 300 yards, and a couple touchdowns.”

Passtronaut continued, “Now he does have a great cast, but at the end of the day, like he has to be the decision-maker and the driving force of the offense, and the way he makes good decisions, takes care of the football, and plays, just efficient, clean football. He might not go out there and make the wow play all the time, but he’s going to go out there and put his team in a great position to be successful, and that’s what you have to do, especially in the Shanahan offense.”
