Justin Fields struggles to earn a coveted job

According to Steelers beat writer Mark Kaboly, Justin Fields is still struggling to earn a starting job with the Pittsburgh Steelers. It is clear that he may wait as Russell Wilson already secured the first shot at the starting job during the offseason minicamps. Both QBs replaced the Eagles QB, Kenny Pickett. However, the young QB may have to patiently wait a bit longer and improve more quickly, earning a secure spot with the Steelers.

Even, Mike Tomlin, HC indicated that Fields still had a chance to secure the starting position during the summer or maybe later in the regular season, but initially, it was meant for Wilson. “You couldn’t have asked for much more out of Wilson during OTAs and minicamp, on the field and off it. His leadership is more than noticeable, and that’s been true since the first day he showed up. What stood out was his arm talent, whether it was a throw in the flat, at the goal line, or down the field.”

Indeed, the given performance landed Wilson on Kaboly’s offseason “winners” list, while Fields found himself in the “losers” category. What do you think Fields will end up with?
