It would seem like Justin Fields is at a crossroads with the Chicago Bears. After arguably singlehandedly carrying the team for a while, Fields became an almost synonymous name with the Chicago side. But now, it seems like the Chicago Bears have something else in mind and they are paying heed to Caleb Williams, the USC Trojans QB, over their current star.

According to some reports, the Bears GM Ryan Poles and their front office are already trying to make arrangements to find a new QB. In the wake of this event, Justin Fields finally did something that made his stance about the Bears clear to the whole world. The million-dollar question is whether the Bears would trade Justin Fields for Caleb Williams.

Justin Fields is stepping back from the Chicago Bears?

A recent post from Dov Kleiman suggests matters don’t appear all sorted between Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears. This became clear when Fields unfollowed his team on Instagram and Kleiman was quick enough to catch it.

His post on X says, “Justin Fields doesn’t follow the #Bears on Instagram anymore…”. The image in the post shows the Bears not listed in Fields followers list anymore. There are a couple of questions that come to mind in the wake of this frenzy.

Did Fields follow the Bears in the first place? If he did, couldn’t he have unfollowed them a while back? Also, is this really about the Bears having a look at Caleb Williams and the free-agent market? For now, Justin Fields’ actions remain cryptic, especially with how Kleiman pointed it out in the post. However, it is to be noted that the Bears have a no. 1 draft pick in the upcoming NFL Scouting Combine that is set to begin on February 26 and go on till March 4.

A lot of teams are eyeing on Justin Fields right now

According to a post from Sports Illustrated, a lot of teams are interested in the QB because the Bears front office is getting a lot of inquiries. Though the other names are not out yet, the Atlanta Falcons seem to be the secret admirers of Justin Fields. This might be because of two reasons.

One, the Falcons are not finding a groove with Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke and secondly, Fields is a Georgia native. He completed his college in Georgia as well. Hence it makes more of a case for the Falcons to try new things out. Would they hire Justin Fields?
