Charles Omenihu’s playing status

Omenihu was taken to the locker room after he suffered a knee injury during the game. After much deliberation during halftime, the news came out in the third quarter regarding his injury status. At first, it looked like the DE would come back on the field, but Adam Schefter confirmed his absence for the rest of the game.

Adam Schefter posted on X, “Chiefs downgraded Charles Omenihu to out.” This means that the Chiefs’ defense has to manage it without Omenihu for the rest of the game.
