Forget the playbook, forget the drills—the hottest topic at the Chiefs camp is a whole lot hairier! The Kansas City Chiefs’ official X page just dropped a legendary video—Travis Kelce rocking his iconic mustache on the first day of preseason camp! The caption? A fitting “The return of El Travador,” Kelce’s self-proclaimed ‘stache nickname.

But here’s the real kicker—this facial hair might have some serious matchmaking magic. Turns out, the credit for that might go partly to the Chiefs tight end’s sister-in-law and Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce. Back in September on their podcast New Heights, Kylie dropped some ‘smart advice’ for Kelce’s dating life: “This is going to sound a little harsh, but I think you should do the mustache [in your dating app photos] because if they swipe right at your worst, then they’ll love you at your best.”

Genius, right? And guess what? Just weeks later, a mustachioed Kelce was spotted cheering with none other than Taylor Swift at Arrowhead Stadium! Since then, the Chiefs have been on a winning streak (with Swift in the stands for two out of three games! ), and Kelce has kept the ‘stache going strong.

Here’s hoping El Travador brings some fresh magic to the season, just like the Chiefs’ Christmas movie stars did.

Travis Kelce receives humorous notes from Chiefs Christmas movie stars

Travis Kelce returned to Chiefs camp after a whirlwind offseason with pop star girlfriend Taylor Swift, only to find a hilarious (and slightly pointed) note waiting for him in his locker. The 3x Super Bowl champion raised eyebrows when he jetted off to Germany to catch a leg of Swift’s Eras Tour, missing some early training camp sessions. While fans debated his dedication, it seemed Kelce’s peeps were having some fun at his expense.

Tyler Hynes and Hunter King, stars of the upcoming Hallmark movie Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, revealed they were enlisted by Kelce’s mom, Donna, to leave a special message in his locker. Hynes kept it classic, penning the lyrics to Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places,” a subtle (or not-so-subtle?) jab at Kelce’s time away. He also added a sweet request: “Always stay the same.”

Meanwhile, King threw a curveball even Hynes didn’t see coming: “Thanks for stealing my field and my mom,” she joked, nodding to her character’s Chiefs loyalty and Donna Kelce’s cameo. Looks like Kelce’s off-season adventures didn’t go unnoticed.
