Miami  Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill is back in the headlines. But not for anything happening on the field. This time, it’s his personal life making waves. Hill’s offseason just took a rough turn as his wife, Keeta Vaccaro, has filed for divorce following a heated incident earlier this month.

Reports suggest that the Dolphins’ wideout asked his wife Keeta and their infant daughter Capri to leave the house during a heated domestic dispute. When the headlines start swirling, some folks go quiet. But Keeta Vaccaro has gone maternal and serene. While she seeks exclusive rights to their condo and supervised visitation for Hill, she made an Instagram post giving fans a beautiful peek at baby Capri.

Through the recent post by Keeta, posted through the IG account @capri_hill that she runs, she has made her message clear. That is, Capri is safe and loved. Baby Capri, born on Thanksgiving Day 2024, is parked in a stroller, as seen in the post. Wearing a yellow romper, white floral print, and a big white headband, it looks statement. Seated comfortably in the soft pink stroller, she is indeed the center of Keeta’s world.

Keeta’s post comes days after filing for divorce from Hill, a year after their “spontaneous” wedding. And, just months after Capri’s birth. According to court records and PEOPLE’s report, the domestic dispute that set it off happened in April.

But this wasn’t Hill’s first time making headlines for something like this. Back in 2019, he was the subject of a full-blown child abuse investigation after his son Zev’s arm was broken. Police were called to Hill’s home in March 2019, and both he and his then-fiancée, Crystal Espinal, temporarily lost custody of their son as part of a “child in need of care” case. However, no charges were filed.

So, while he brands himself a #GirlDad and says his kids “don’t care who I am on the field,” let’s be real—custody battles don’t lie.

Legal storm brewing: Tyreek Hill navigates high-conflict divorce

Keeta filed for divorce on April 8, 2025, just one day after police responded to a reported domestic dispute at their 35th-floor Sunny Isles Beach condo. According to reports, Keeta’s mother, Alesia Vaccaro, placed the call, describing an “assault in progress.

When officers arrived, the scene was tense but lacked any immediate signs of physical violence. While both parties denied any assault, police documented a bruise on Keeta’s upper chest. She indicated it may have occurred when Hill allegedly grabbed Capri during the argument.

In her emergency court filing, Keeta Vaccaro described Hill as “aggressive and impulsive.” She stated he threw a laptop during the altercation. She also claimed the situation escalated when Hill left the condo with their infant daughter, Capri, without her consent. He remained gone for two nights. Her filing further asserts, “The Husband returned to the home and announced that he was taking the baby, over the objections of the Wife.

This isn’t Hill’s first brush with controversy. In 2014, he pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges after choking his then-pregnant fiancée. Following his son’s broken arm in 2019, an investigation into child abuse failed to produce any charges against him. More recently, in 2023, he faced a civil lawsuit from influencer Sophie Hall, who alleged he broke her leg during a backyard football drill.

Now, new video footage has surfaced showing Hill on a balcony holding Capri during the dispute. Despite growing public concern, both the Miami Dolphins and the NFL have issued minimal public response.
