Christmas holidays have always been fun! From decorating the house to welcome Santa, everything seems like the moment we waited for a year. But there is one thing that Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly Stafford doesn’t like about the day.

During a recent episode of The Morning After Media podcast, Kelly Stafford and her co-host & bestie Hank Winchester brought a special Christmas segment for their audience. However, while talking about it, Stafford mentioned one thing that she hates. Talking about her four daughters, the internet personality said, “Oh my god! It’s so cute. It’s so cute. How excited they get for this. Stuff. It really is.”

However, revealing the problem, Kelly Stafford said, “But. There’s a big but. I f–king hate that thing (Elf).” Interrupting her, Winchester expressed his experience of elves by saying, “I wake up at six in the morning and think oh, sh–t.” The mom of four, too, then shared a candid and relatable moment about the chaos of parenting during the holidays.

She explained how her daughter, Sawyer, woke her up one morning, and she suddenly remembered they hadn’t moved their family’s Elf on the Shelf – a holiday tradition many parents juggle. In a humorous and unfiltered way, Kelly admitted she wasn’t the type of mom to go all out with elaborate setups for the elf, like bubbles in the sink or other creative ideas she’s seen others do.

Instead, she revealed that her husband and the Los Angeles Rams’s quarterback Matthew Stafford, had taken responsibility that time and moved the elf himself. Therefore, Kelly lightheartedly vented, “I’m sorry. The elf gets way too f–king credit,” poking fun at the effort it often takes to keep up with the tradition.

However, this isn’t the first time Kelly has spoken about a festival. Earlier too, she had a problem with the Thanksgiving holiday.

Kelly Stafford’s one big reason to not love Thanksgiving!

Talking about Thanksgiving Day, which was celebrated on November 28, Kelly Stafford earlier made a controversial statement in her podcast. She said, “Listen, everyone’s been preparing for Christmas. Thanksgiving is just like a side dish to Christmas.” Yes! We know that’s a hot take, and even Matthew Stafford’s wife knows it too. But there might be a big reason for her to say that.

Although the 46-year-old didn’t mention the reason behind it, fans speculate it to be related to the troubles of preparation and after-party. This is because, earlier during an interview, Stafford expressed, “We would wake up, go to the game, watch the game and then come home and eat Thanksgiving dinner. Honestly, I loved it. The only thing I didn’t love — man, hosting Thanksgiving for 12 years straight was exhausting. We always had family in for it, but sometimes I would love just to go to someone else’s house and to not have to clean up.”

So, now we know why she doesn’t like celebrating Thanksgiving. However, we hope Kelly Stafford and her family had a good time celebrating Thanksgiving this year.
