Lamar Jackson has issued somewhat of a warning to CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans. In the last four playoff games over the years, the Baltimore Ravens haven’t crossed a threshold of 20 points and have lost three of those four matchups. However, this year is different because the Ravens ended their season on a 13-4 note, and for a brief moment, it felt like there wasn’t a way to stop this Baltimore team.

Lamar Jackson has the utmost trust in the Baltimore Ravens
The video from the conference features a reporter jumping straight to the point and asking Lamar Jackson the tough questions. He pointed out how the Ravens haven’t been able to score more than 20 points in the last four playoff games. The reporter then asked Jackson about his confidence that the team would break this curse. The QB was quick and confident with his answer.
“Very confident, very, very confident. Extremely confident,” said the QB and burst out into laughter. He mentioned earlier in the video that he has been following the Texans throughout the season and studying their games. This might be one of the reasons why Jackson feels so confident in his team.

The QB was also inquired about his faith in Odell Beckham Jr. He mentioned that the WR is getting better every year and feels confident about the QB-WR connection in the next game against the Texans. Also, OBJ has won a Super Bowl, and his experience would be instrumental in the Ravens’ success.

The Baltimore QB briefly spoke about CJ Stroud as well.

Can CJ Stroud go head-to-head with Lamar Jackson?
For some, the answer to this question might be a resounding “yes.” CJ Stroud has broken rookie records left and right, and per Jackson, Stroud played better as a rookie than he ever did. This has gotten his attention as he mentioned how Stroud “did great,” leaving no stone unturned and passing the ball up and down the field.

However, the Ravens have displayed outstanding performance throughout the year. Jackson believes that the team is getting “better and better,” and the Ravens are more in sync with each other than they ever were.
