Lamar Jackson was on top of the world. With the Baltimore Ravens getting the no. 1 seed position for the playoffs and Jackson in the race to secure the MVP for the second time in his career. But after the AFC Championship loss against the Kansas City Chiefs, the star quarterback has gone radio silent.

The Ravens faltered once again in the playoffs, in a season when they were phenomenal on both sides of the ball. With their defense stopping the opponent attacks and their penetration in the red zones, led by Jackson was one of the best. However, this was not the case against the Chiefs, relegating Jackson’s social media activity to nil.

Jackson and the Ravens could not kick start against the Chiefs. They went behind in the first quarter and could not obtain the lead a single time in the game. The game ended 17-10 in the favor of Chiefs. And Jackson provided an inspiring update on X (formerly Twitter) after the game.

Though, understandably, the loss would’ve been heartbreaking for the former MVP. His fans across the world would be clamoring to hear his take on the upcoming Super Bowl. And whether the Ravens can finally better their abysmal playoffs record in the upcoming seasons?

It has now become a common saying that the Ravens will fail in the playoffs stage. And this saying is not without merit. The 2013 Super Bowl winners are failing to replicate their success from the regular season to the postseason.

In the previous 11 seasons, the Ravens have qualified for the playoffs on 6 different occasions. However, they have not managed to reach the Super Bowl even once. The Ravens have not won in two consecutive games in the playoffs yet.

Whether Lamar Jackson can overcome this in the next season is too farfetched to predict. But for now, the star QB is recovering from the recent loss.
