After the Ravens secured their win against the Browns with their final 2024 season game, the focus shifted to the postseason. While fans are buzzing about the team’s potential, Zay Flowers made headlines for a surprising personal change. As the playoffs approach, the Ravens’ WR has revealed a fresh cut—one that added an extra layer of confidence as the team prepares for their postseason run. What’s behind the change? It’s a bold statement heading into the playoffs.

Flowers posted on Instagram stories a photo of him holding his trimmed dreadlocks. It has sparked plenty of conversation. However, with over 1,000 yards, 4 TDs and a strong connection with Lamar Jackson, Flowers is ready for the postseason, regardless of his haircut. Before we talk more about Flowers, there is another Ravens player, who has changed his looks.

Derrick Henry, the Ravens’ powerful running back, isn’t far behind in making a big change. He, too, has trimmed his signature dreadlocks, changing for a new look with cornrows. The change isn’t small, as Henry is usually seen with his long dreadlocks. He has been a dominant force in the league, and now with his fresh cut, he is looking cooler than ever!

Whether it’s a new appearance or a fresh mindset, both Zay Flowers and Henry are entering the postseason with confidence, and it will be exciting to see how their revamped looks translate to the field. But Zay may not be on the field. Why you ask? Remember that knee injury he had in the previous game? Yeah, we got an update on that.

Zay Flowers and persistent injury woes

After the Ravens’ last regular-season game against the Browns, Zay Flowers took a hit to the knee while catching a 12-yard pass. Browns linebacker Mohamoud Diabate hit him hard, and Zay was seen grabbing his knee. Luckily, it’s not a season-ender, but whether he’ll be good to go for the Steelers playoff game is still up in the air.

Coach Harbaugh was chill about it, saying it’s “day-to-day” for Flowers. “He’s gonna do everything he can to get back as soon as possible,” Harbaugh said. With the postseason coming up fast, the Ravens are crossing their fingers for him to be ready, but they’re keeping an eye on how he heals.

As for Justice Hill, who got knocked out with a concussion, Harbaugh said he’s “trending well.” The hope is that Hill will be back for the playoffs. Which would definitely help add more firepower as the Ravens go all-in for that Super Bowl run.
