He did not forget to point out that, “He’s the second most winning coach since he started under Andy Reid.” While acknowledging the team’s current difficulties, McCoy conceded, “It does look ugly,” but firmly believed Sirianni deserved better. He said, “He doesn’t deserve to be on the hot seat… he should be on the good seat.” He added, “Why should he be on the hot seat? cuz he’s having a bad stretch, having a bad couple of games, who doesn’t have that? All the coaches we can talk about, they go through these things.”

Emmanuel Acho had initiated the debate, recognizing the team’s struggles while questioning the growing pressure on Sirianni. McCoy concluded by saying, “It don’t look good, it does look ugly, yes it do but, he don’t deserve to be on a hot seat in any case.” However, on the other hand, Colin Cowherd also commented on the situation but he had a rather different perspective.

Colin Cowherd criticised Sirianni’s leadership

Head coach Sirianni’s recent strategic moves have met with criticism after the Eagles’ losses to the 49ers, Cowboys, Seahawks, and Cardinals. The 42-year-old coach’s decision to demote Sean Desai and elevate Matt Patricia has notably failed to stem the team’s struggles.

A seasoned broadcaster, aged 59, Colin Cowherd weighed in on the situation. He suggested a deeper issue saying, “This Philly mess doesn’t feel like it’s just a personnel mess.” He pointed to the team’s under-performance despite its talent. He also questioned Sirianni’s choices in staffing, noting, “Sirianni had two great coordinators!… it looks like he kind of missed on the next guys.”
