There’s already buzz in the Motor City this week. First, Amon-Ra St. Brown looks close to returning for Week 6, and the Detroit Lions’ fans are fired up. But that’s not the only reason smiles are spreading across Detroit. St. Brown’s girlfriend just made her social media comeback, and the reaction from Jared Goff’s wife has fans talking.

Just hours ago, Brooklyn Adams, St. Brown’s longtime girlfriend, dropped her first Instagram post in years with the caption, “Long time, no see.” While she joined Instagram back in February 2012, it’s the only post in her profile. So, this sudden post got everyone’s attention. And yes, Christen Harper Goff couldn’t hold back. “Holy sh**,” she commented. Even St. Brown joined in teasing his partner.

“Who’s that 🥷🏿 next to you,” commented the WR on her post. In the picture, Brooklyn is seen smiling to the camera while wearing a black leather jacket. She seems to be sitting with someone close by. Judging from St. Browns’ comment, we are sure it was him. What about Christen and Brooklyn? They might have bonded because of their partners.

Jared Goff and St. Brown have been teammates since 2021, when St. Brown joined the Lions as a rookie. Their chemistry has grown with every game, and it’s nice to see their partners clicking too. But for those wondering who Brooklyn Adams actually is, her story goes way back.

St. Brown and Adams met during high school at Servite High in Anaheim, California, when they were just sophomores. The 25-year-old has shared how the two met on Netflix’s documentary series, Receiver. The story feels straight out of a romantic movie.

“We had a project and started talking then. By the end of my sophomore year, we started dating, and we’ve been together ever since,” he said. After graduation, St. Brown headed to USC and eventually to the NFL. Meanwhile, Adams stayed closer to home, enrolling in nursing school in Orange County. And when he got drafted to Detroit, they made the long-distance thing work.

“She tries to come to as many games as she can,” St. Brown said recently. And true to that, Adams has been seen in the stands, cheering, celebrating, and even tearing up during tough losses. Now, as Week 6 approaches, fans might see her back in the crowd again, this time watching her boyfriend light up the field after an injury.

Amon-Ra St. Brown is ready for Week 6

Amon-Ra St. Brown missed practice on Wednesday with a wrist issue. But by Thursday, he was back in action. “I’m feeling good,” the Lions star said about his injury. “It’s been bugging me for a little… nothing to worry about.” That confidence showed in full when Detroit cleared him off the final Week 6 injury report.

Now, St. Brown looks set for his usual heavy workload against the Kansas City Chiefs. He is very valuable to the Detroit offense. The WR ranked 3rd in PFSN’s Wide Receiver Impact score with a 94.0 grade. He’s trailing only Puka Nacua and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, two of the league’s yardage leaders through five weeks. So far, St. Brown’s numbers speak for themselves:

35 catches, 407 yards, and six touchdowns in just five games. He’s been unstoppable in the red zone. No one in the league has more touchdown grabs than him right now. And with St. Brown ready to go, his one-on-one battle against All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie is going to be must-watch television under the lights.

If McDuffie slows him down, the Lions’ offense could hit a wall against that tough Kansas City defense. But if St. Brown finds his rhythm early, he can change the momentum of the game. So let’s see what happens in Week 6.
