Before Nabers, two players have achieved this feat. In 2023, Los Angeles Rams’ Puka Nacua had 39 receptions in the first four games. Another player on this list is ex-Cardinal Anquan Boldin. He became the youngest WR (21 years, 56 days) in NFL history to have multiple touchdowns in a game. This record was previously held by Mike Evans (21 years, 73 days). The LSU graduate is the first player in the league’s history to record at least 250 yards, 20 receptions, and three touchdowns through the first three games of their NFL career.

Malik Nabers exits early on Thursday with concussion symptoms

Giants WR Malik Nabers exited early during the team’s 20-15 defeat against the Cowboys on Thursday. The 21-year-old showed a great performance. However, it all came to an unforeseen halt due to this injury,

It happened during the fourth quarter. The rookie WR was trying to make a catch on a fourth-down pass from Daniel Jones but couldn’t quite secure the ball while trying to tap his toes inbounds. He went to the ground and landed head first and right shoulder. He remained down on the sideline shortly before being taken to a seated position with his helmet off.

Nabers then walked into the blue medical tent and later went back inside the locker room, where he stayed until the end of the game. Shortly after this, the team announced that he indeed suffered a concussion and was out for the remainder of the game.

Following a heartbreaking defeat against the Cowboys on Thursday, the Giants would need Nabers back as soon as possible, as they would aim to get back on winning ways. They along with the team’s loyal supporters would hope that this injury was not something serious that would keep the 21-year-old out for weeks and would surely like to see him back on the field as the team faces the Seattle Seahawks on October 7 (Monday).
