Has Cowboys LB Micah Parsons had enough with Jerry Jones? Can’t blame him, though, if that’s the case. Back in January, Parsons expressed his displeasure with coach Mike McCarthy’s exit while also showing trust in the Cowboys’ management as they searched for a new head coach. But little did Micah know, Jerry Jones would go on a solo quest to find the new HC. And then would end up promoting OC Brian Schottenheimer. Well, people have been talking about that a lot. The new buzz in NFL town is that Micah Parsons might want to shift to the AFC division now.

Now, whether it’s frustration with how things are working in the Cowboys’ management or something else entirely, if Micah does leave the Cowboys, their fans won’t be very pleased about it. For now, reports claim that Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey has stated Parsons wants to come to the AFC. The popular X account MLFootball posted the information. And whenever this account shares a rumor, there’s usually some element of truth to it.

Nonetheless, we note the double “claim” here and take it with a pinch of salt. There has been no official word on it, neither from Micah Parsons nor from Humphrey. But it does have us wondering—could Micah be joining forces with Lamar Jackson at the Ravens? That’s quite a storyline to keep yourself engaged with until the Super Bowl next week. A lot of things didn’t go well for the Cowboys this year, and no, we’re not even going to start with Jerry Jones. Because, as Cowboys fans themselves will tell you, that’s been a problem for about thirty years now.

But this season has been a nightmare on the injury front. Add some Jerry Jones antics. Like refusing to address basic player concerns, such as getting curtains installed at AT&T Stadium to block the blinding sun during games. And if that wasn’t enough, there’s the endless delay in contract talks for both players and coaches.

Okay, we went there. But no more of the Cowboys’ fabled GM-and-owner, promise. The entire mess of dealing with him and the contract situation led Coach McCarthy to part ways with the team. So, what could be the reason for Micah?

Micah Parsons moving on from Dallas?

I’m obviously very sad because of the relationships we had with Coach McCarthy and everything he’s done for our program. Three straight 12-5 seasons, playoff appearances, and obviously an unfortunate year due to injuries. … It is devastating,” said Parsons when McCarthy left. The star LB inked a whopping $17 million rookie deal with Jerry Jones’ team in 2021. And with the blink of an eye, Parsons became the Cowboys‘ top pass rusher. The defense looked solid with him, capable of derailing any team’s offense—thanks to Coach McCarthy. Micah too credits it all to him.

Coach Mike is a great father, a great coach, and one of the winningest coaches. He’s always been good to us as a unit—coaches, and players. Losing a great coach like Mike hurts.” So now, might that be the reason the LB is considering parting ways amid all this messy management? Although he still has one year left on his deal with Dallas before hitting free agency in 2026, the interesting thing is that the Cowboys have the option to franchise-tag him.

And then Parsons could also be asking for a trade. If not this season, then maybe next season. For now, there are just speculations all around. It would be better to sleep on it until we get any confirmation from Micah himself.
