Nevertheless, she later surprised everyone with her Swift version of Halloween get up. But now she is back again with her opinion about another event.

During her recent appearance at The Morning After Media show, Kelly Stafford chose to speak her perspectives on Thanksgiving Day, which is celebrated today this year, on Thursday, November 28. Now, as many are waiting for the holiday for food or to do get togethers, the 46-year-old is not at all excited for such things.

Yes, you heard it right! While discussing the festival, Matthew Stafford’s wife said, everyone generally forgets Thanksgiving. She expressed, “Listen, everyone’s been preparing for Christmas. Thanksgiving is just like a side dish to Christmas.” Whoa! That’s definitely a hot take. Even her co-hosts believed that.

Now, Mrs. Stafford didn’t reveal the reason behind saying this. But it’s speculated that the work she had to do for twelve years on this festive day made her say this. Yes, Matthew Stafford’s wife has a very specific history with Thanksgiving, given the fact that the quarterback had to usually play on this day every year when in Detroit.

During an interview earlier, Kelly Stafford recalled, “We would wake up, go to the game, watch the game and then come home and eat Thanksgiving dinner. Honestly, I loved it. The only thing I didn’t love — man, hosting Thanksgiving for 12 years straight was exhausting. We always had family in for it, but sometimes I would love just to go to someone else’s house and to not have to clean up.”

Now it’s true that Matthew Stafford’s wife had to deal with all that cleaning up and cooking stuff. But she is grateful that she had the support of her family’s personal chef, Chris Donaldson. However, still, Kelly thinks this festival is just a “side dish,” and the actual celebration is Christmas, where she might experience the real fun and holiday. But wait! this isnt the only thing she complained about!

Kelly Stafford isn’t happy with a Christmas tradition!

In the same podcast episode, Matthew Stafford’s better half, Kelly Stafford also complained about the American parents who tell their kids about Santa being real or not. She expressed on her podcast that her four daughters—Sawyer, Chandler, Hunter and Tyler—all have started bombarding her with Christmas related questions.

While expressing her frustration, she said, “I’m getting so many questions about Santa already. You’re only seven! It’s pissing me off.” Sawyer and Chandler (twins) are seven years of age, while Hunter is 6 and Tyler is just 4. That’s not all!

It seems Kelly Stafford is genuinely experiencing a hard time with the debacle, as she later posted a story on her official Instagram handle. And there she lashed out at the American parents, saying, “I’m all about Christmas. I don’t like that my kids are asking if he’s real or not already due to parents telling their kids he is not real, in my opinion, at a very young age. Taking Christmas belief is my biggest pet peeve.”

Nevertheless, it seems like Kelly Saffod is really at her wit’s end with all the festivities and the drama surrounding them.
