The Miami Dolphins haven’t had much luck with injuries lately. Following their Week 7 loss to the Eagles, the Dolphins have suffered back-to-back game weeks of having to endure a multitude of injuries. Despite the injuries, Mike McDaniel has steadied the ship and guided his team to a 6-2 record as they build up for the AFC Championship precursor against the Kansas City Chiefs in Germany.

Miami Dolphins set to injure their SB chances?

The injury issues have mired the Dolphins’ excellent start to NFL 2023. They match their upcoming opponent’s record with 6 wins and 2 losses, with the Dolphins sitting 2nd and their SB rivals taking up the top spot. McDaniel would have hoped for the entire roster to be available, but he has to play the hand he’s been dealt. The potential injuries could ruin any hopes the Dolphins have for making it to the Super Bowl.

The Miami Dolphins will have to deal with Robert Hunt and Brandon Jones being ruled out. Following the two, 8 potential ‘Phins’ have been listed as questionable for the matchup in Frankfurt. Among the questionable stars, three have played every single game, namely Braxton Berrios, Justin Bethel, and Durham Smythe. Their absence from the Dolphins squad will only add to the concerns of the fans and their HC. It could cause harm to any plans the Dolphins coaches may have prepared for the Chiefs.

The injuries will take up most of the pre-game conversation against the Dolphins. It would be a mistake to dismiss them before the game even starts. Mike McDaniel’s team has star players who can make a big impact. His ‘Phins’ set the tone in stats play.

An exciting team to watch

The Dolphins have been one of the most exciting teams to watch this season in the NFL. They have managed to score more than 30 points in all but one of their victories, with the Patriots holding them to 24 in their loss. They have averaged 310 passing yards across their 8 games, with Tua Tagovailoa as the leading QB in the NFL with 2416 yards.

Although the fans are delighted with the resurgence of their star QB, he hasn’t been the only shining light. Former Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill leads the NFL for most receiving yards, with 1014 yards. Raheem Mostert’s experience has added depth and versatility to the Dolphins’ attack, with rookies De’Von Achane and Jaylen Ramsey also contributing. The fans have pinned their hopes on Mike McDaniel and the Dolphins for a successful season come February. So far, the two have delivered despite hiccups. Whether they’ll be able to fulfill the promise could depend on Sunday’s Frankfurt matchup.
