Dallas Cowboys defensive star Micah Parsons has constantly remained in the headlines this offseason. The main reason for that is his contract extension talks. And there’s another reason too, his posts on X, and the LB randomly jumping into the comments. Remember when DeMarcus Lawrence bolted for the Seattle Seahawks? Parsons didn’t hold back, getting into a full-on X brawl with his former teammate. Lately, though, the star LB has been chilling on X, tossing out random posts like it’s his day job. On Sunday, Parsons slid in with a slick comment about his buddy CeeDee Lamb after an interview clip started making waves.

So, what’s the latest scoop? Well, a video featuring CeeDee Lamb alongside the Cowboys’ newly acquired WR George Pickens has been making rounds on the internet. In the clip, Lamb is talking about the WR1 rivalry, and Micah Parsons couldn’t help but jump in with a playful message. Reposting the video on his account, Parsons wrote, “Ceeedee done found a new best friend,” followed by a bunch of laughing emojis.

The Cowboys will kick off this season with a new-look offense featuring QB Dak Prescott, back from injury, star wideout CeeDee Lamb, and their newly acquired WR George Pickens. The Cowboys brass had to find a new receiver after Brandin Cooks left in free agency. Following Cooks’s departure, Dallas stayed quiet for nearly two months without addressing the position. But Jerry Jones had made it clear they’d bring in a receiver before the season. Several names popped up, with Amari Cooper being the fan favorite.

But in a surprising move, it turned out to be Steelers’ George Pickens. Now that Pickens has landed in Dallas, lingering questions remain about who will be the team’s WR1. Pickens and his former team, the Steelers, did not part on good terms. According to several reports, one of the reasons Pittsburgh traded Pickens was that they no longer wanted to put up with his costly penalties and strange scuffles with defenders. The wideout also reportedly had a tense relationship with head coach Mike Tomlin.

CeeDee Lamb shuts down WR1 rivalry talks

George Pickens’s aggressive behavior is no secret to anyone in the league. So naturally, fans were concerned about how well George would get along with CeeDee Lamb in Dallas. Well, CeeDee himself put those concerns to rest. On Saturday, both Cowboys wideouts attended Kyler Murray‘s charity softball game in Scottsdale, Arizona.

When the media got hold of the two teammates, they asked who would be the WR1 in Dallas. CeeDee wasted no time answering, “Oh, now, we are both one. Yeah. It ain’t no A, B, none of that. It’s one.” Pickens was standing right next to Lamb as he said it. “You look over there, you see one. You look over here, you see another one. So, do what you got to do with that,” CeeDee added. Pickens had also echoed the same sentiment as his new teammate earlier.

After the trade, when the former Steelers wideout was asked about his role, he told reporters, “You guys making a 1A and 1B and all this, honestly, that’s the first time I’ve heard of any of that stuff.Saying that having two strong receivers on one team is normal, Pickens added, “When I used to watch football, there was always a good receiver, and then there was another good receiver on the side of him. I just feel like we’re going to work off each other very well.” The Cowboys will hope for the same.
