Randi Mahomes has left her fans emotional yet again! On April 28, Randi listed the family’s longtime home for six figures. But for her, it has never just been about the numbers. The house wasn’t just where Patrick grew up, it was where the Patrick Mahomes family built a life. And, just a few days after the listing, the NFL mom took to Twitter with a message that hits significantly deep.
Taking to her X handle @toolgait, she reflected, “The only thing you can’t get back is time…” This statement is no passing thought; it is a reflection on both life and loss. The message came at an emotionally charged moment for her, after listing Patrick’s childhood home in Tyler, Texas.

Besides this, 2025 has been tough for her. In February, just days after the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl to the Eagles, Randi’s father, Larry Randy Martin, passed away. That loss and the sale of the family home gave extra weight to her recent post on time and memory.
But life is all about change. Back in March, Randi received a life-changing gift from her children, i.e., Patrick, Brittany, and Jackson. They surprised her with a newly built $825,000 four-bedroom home. The new home Randi now calls her own is a serious upgrade, with four bedrooms, a spa bath, and a manicured lawn.
She wrote, “Home is where the heart is—and my heart is full!” when she moved in. But even with that new chapter, letting go of the old wasn’t easy. “There were a lot of tears and laughter and memories in that house,” she said. “But it’s time to let a new family start to build their dream there now.” Indeed, she is making full efforts to embrace the change.
