Initially, Dave Campbell shared this thrilling update through an IG post. “2025 TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL HALL OF FAME: PATRICK MAHOMES II We will be spotlighting the entire 2025 Texas High School Football Hall of Fame members from now until the ceremony on May 10. Today, we honor the White House’s Patrick Mahomes II!” they mentioned in their post caption.

Clearly, the Super Bowl MVP awardee has become one among many East Texas football players who will be enshrined in the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame in 2025.

Well, according to the Texas Football report published back in October 2024, a total of nine individuals will be honored and inducted into the TXHSFB HOF Class of 2025 on May 10th at Baylor’s Hurd Welcome Center. Interestingly, Jeff Traylor and Robert Griffin III will also join the NFL QBs at this moment, as they will also receive this prestigious HOF honor.

Amazingly, at this moment, Whitehouse, Texas, native Mahomes received the immense love from the Texas people, as they elected him with love among others. The six-time Pro Bowler, Mahomes, who recorded 245 TDS with 32,352 YRDS during his first eight NFL seasons, will become the first player from the 2010s decade to be inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame.

Despite building his legacy in the NFL with winning 3 Super Bowl championship titles and several other accolades, he also has had a successful career trajectory at Texas Tech from 2014 to 2016. He impressively passed for 11,252 YARDS with 93 touchdowns and 29 interceptions.

And, now, the former three-star recruit of TXHSFB, who recorded  50 TDS with 4,619 YRDS in high school, is gaining spotlight for his stellar Texas High School career, where he played multiple sports including football and basketball, and baseball.

Interestingly, a former Texas player is inducted into the TXHSFB HOF every ten years. Since a player must have completed high school at least ten years ago, the most recent decade is added in accordance with that requirement.

Moreover, when it came time for the Hall of Fame to extend to the decade of the 2010s, there was an incredible pool of candidates that graduated between 2010 and 2014. But Mahomes rocked the list. The list included players include Kyler Murray and many others.

At this time, not only his mom but also Mahomes’ high school coach, Adam Cook, admired Patrick’s playing skills and his exceptional abilities. “Patrick didn’t have the pedigree of some of those guys.
