Denver Broncos is coming off with two straight wins this time. Hence, quarterback Bo Nix will try to maintain this record when he and his team welcome their Week 13 rival – the Cleveland Browns. However, watch it out, Nix! Tom Brady has a warning for you – and that’s the NFL’s premier edge rusher!
That’s how one can describe the Browns’ defensive end, Myles Garrett. Last week, he had a tremendous night with three sacks against Russell Wilson’s Steelers. And hence, Tom Brady couldn’t stop himself from praising him.
This week, TB12 was back with his ‘Top 3 Performers’ segment on NFL on FOX. And while unveiling the names, Tom Brady gave a shout-out to Myles Garrett on second (after Saquon Barkley and Tua Tagovailoa). He said, “He (Garrett) sacked Russell Wilson 3 times. He forced a fumble in the Browns’ upset win.” Not only that! The high praise from Brady came for the 28-year-old when the NFL legend recalled his personal trauma.

Tom Brady said, “Trust me it’s never fun to be sacked by Myles Garrett. So Russ I’m feeling for you my man!” While the former quarterback recalled his past, the video clip showed Garrett sacking Brady, during his Patriots’s time. Hence, the 47-year-old gave a warning to the upcoming rival quarterback Bo Nix: “Watch out opposing quarterbacks. Bo Nix, you’re up next. Figure out where he’s lined up on every play and get that ball out of your hands.”
Well, that’s indeed a great way for Tom to give the quarterbacks a warning to avoid what Russell Wilson had to experience. Nevertheless, Bo Nix and his Broncos are going to face the Browns on Monday, December 2, at Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High. There’s no doubt that it will be a tough task to stay away from Garrett, as he is a rough player, which even Tom Brady knows.
Tom Brady was okay with the NFL suspending Myles Garrett?
Back in November 2019, when Tom Brady was playing with the Patriots, he was asked to comment on Myles Garrett’s incident. The league suspended Garrett after he took off then-Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph’s helmet. Also, reportedly hit him over the head with it. Now this came as a surprising incident for the NFL. Tom Brady said, “Coach Belichick tries to use it as teaching moments. (He) talks about not throwing punches, not touching the referees, and staying on the sidelines.”

Well, it’s definitely hard to stay disciplined all the time, but TB12 admitted, “It’s an emotional game. I think I got a penalty in 2002. And I think I’ve only got one penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct. I kinda pushed someone back against Chicago. That might be my only unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Probably deserved a few more, but that was the only one I got called for.”
Hence, Tom Brady believes that when tempers flare, it’s important to keep oneself poised. However, Garrett failed to so do at that time. Hence, because of all these, the legendary quarterback feels that the Browns’ defensive end is indeed a rough and tough player.
