The Dolphins have been going through a difficult spell in recent days. In week 15, they had one more chance to turn their season around. However, the Houston Texans were not on board with this idea, and they crushed the Dolphins 20-12. While the game was intense, it appears that the loss was not the only negative thing for them. Following this loss, it appears that the league has decided to give them less importance. Wait, what?

Well, it sounds bad, but in some ways, it is true. The NFL did not explicitly state these things, but they have officially moved the Dolphins’ Week 17 game against the Browns. Prior to the Texans’ Week 15 loss, the Miami Week 17 game was scheduled during prime time, but the Falcons versus the Commanders has taken its place. According to reports, NBC receives a large number of views thanks to quarterback Jayden Daniels.

After this major news, it appears that fans have not ceased blaming the two guys who led the Dolphins to their Week 15 loss. But wait! Blame on only two players? Well, that may sound unusual, but it is true. For those who missed the game, the Texans had three interceptions. All of these throws were made by QB Tua Tagovailoa to wide receiver Tyreek Hill. While all three interceptions cost the Dolphins the entire season, is it fair to blame only two players?

Tyreek Hill and Tua Tagovailoa have taken accountability for the Dolphins’ loss

Well, there you go. This is the main twist of this loss, and it came in the post-game conference. After the game, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel made a media appearance. During that, McDaniel disclosed that both the QB and the WR had accepted responsibility for their mistakes. The coach noted that this demonstrated great sportsmanship, which is more essential than a game.

McDaniel stated, “The bad news first is that there were in fact three interceptions. That’s the bad news. The good news is both Tyreek and Tua have been very accountable, and both say it’s their fault. That’s what you want. It’s the second-best to not having the discussion at all because it didn’t happen.”

The HC also explained how everyone understands that a team can only be great on the field if they give each other a thumbs-up instead of pointing fingers. This is why Tyreek Hill and Tua Tagovailoa accepting the blame made it much simpler for the team to simply accept the loss and move on to the next opponent. Perhaps, with a little luck, the Dolphins can still perform well this season. Stay tuned for further updates.
