The teams whose season didn’t go as they might’ve planned will have something to look forward to next season. That is the sweet early draft pick. Though no team would agree to love to be in this position, this is the reality of the football world. Now let’s check which teams are in the prime positions for an early pick.

Draft dreams are still alive

This list is based on if the season ended right now before the Week 10 games are played. Though there are still 8 weeks of games left in the season, depending on the form of teams and the level of competition they are about to face. This list shouldn’t alter much at the end of the regular season.

1 – The Arizona Cardinals

Going 1-8 this season, the Cardinals are in the prime position to bag the first pick next year. Their next game is against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Bears have two top picks in the next draft, due to their trades and their form. They are 2-7 this season and face the Carolina Panthers next.

4 – The New York Giants

Another team with a 2-7 record this season, struggling on both sides of the ball. The Giants have their next game on the road against the Cowboys.

5 – The New England Patriots

Last team on the list with a 2-7 record. The Patriots and Bill Belichick have been having a horrid season. But on the plus side, they get a good pick spot for the next draft. They will host the Colts in their next game.

6 – The Los Angeles Rams

The Rams are 3-5 this season, which gives them a nice pick spot for the 2024 NFL Draft. They are set to take on the Seahawks next.

7 – The Green Bay Packers

Losing Aaron Rodgers hasn’t been good for the Packers as they are 3-5 this season. They will have their next game on the road against the Steelers.

8 – The Denver Broncos

This was supposed to be the turnaround season for the Broncos, but it hasn’t panned out that way. They are 3-5 and must travel to New York to take on the Bills next.

9 – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Another team that was expected to make the playoffs. The Buccaneers are suffering with a 3-5 record and will welcome the Titans for their next game.

10 – The Tennessee Titans

The team from the south is expected to land a top-10 pick next year. They are 3-5 and have to face the Buccaneers next.
