Bad news for the Los Angeles Chargers! They might have been the first ones to score in the game against the Green Bay Packers, but their MVP has taken serious damage. This was going to be a crucial game for the Chargers as a victory would mean a conversion from a losing record to a 0.500 record. But with Joey Bosa down, it seems their chances of winning also went down.

The concern is real for the Chargers as Joey Bosa leaves the field in pain

Ian Rapoport, an NFL Insider, took to X to break the news that things are looking gloomy for the Chargers. “Joey Bosa was carted off, visibly emotional with a towel over his face. Judging by his reaction, the concern is real.” He sustained the foot injury just five minutes into the game. It happened during a routine play where he was rushing the QB. He limped off the field, was examined by the Chargers medical team on the sidelines, and then carried off into the locker room.

Bosa was in tears as all of this transpired. This indicates that it’s no light injury. Almost immediately, the Chargers listed him as questionable to return to the game. When Bosa was carted off the field, the Packers were leading. And now with their talisman gone, the Chargers failed to close in on the gap and recorded the sixth defeat of the season so far. The defeat is even more painful considering the fact that they lost by just 3 points. The Packers collected 23 points as compared to the Chargers’ 23.
