Chiefs and Ravens’ taskmasters missing from update!
A recent Instagram post by the NFL Players Association has caused quite a stir. The post highlighted the NFL’s initiative to choose their most-favored coordinator from each team. The post reads, “The NFL players were asked to rate offensive, defensive, and special teams coordinators last fall as part of the second annual NFLPA Player Team Report Card project.” It shows the top five coordinators from each team on the defensive and offensive grounds. However, the post doesn’t mention the Chiefs’ and Ravens’ coordinators.

This assessment took place last year and involved many verticals, from ownership to coaching facilities. During this process, the offensive players were asked about their favorite coordinator, and the defensive players voted for their favorite defensive coordinators. The defensive list includes names of veteran coaches, including the Cincinnati Bengals and Las Vegas Raiders. Aaron Glen, the defensive taskmaster of the Lions, attained the top spot. The others on the list include Dan Quinn, Brian Flores, and Raheem Morris.

Interestingly, there is no mention of Todd Monken or Steve Spanuolo on the list. Similarly, offensive coordinators include Frank Smith, Thomas Brown, Brian Schottenheimer, Brian Callahan, and Kellen Moore. It also mentioned a list of the special coordination. What’s the reason? The main reason remains under wraps, but the Ravens and Chiefs won hearts this season.
