This weekend new stars will be crowned, and old ones will regain their glory. As each franchise dreams of a Super Bowl victory, they must first secure a win in the wild-card round. So, without further ado, here are the top 5 matchups:

The Chiefs vs The Dolphins

The 6th-seed Miami Dolphins will visit Arrowhead to take on the reigning champions the Kansas City Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes and co. secured the home advantage with their 3rd seed. The Buccaneers vs The Eagles

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers secured the 4th seed position by winning NFC South. They will host the out-of-form Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have lost the last 5 of their 6 games and will be the underdogs.

However, the Bucs can’t count out the Jalen Hurts-led team this easily. But a surging Baker Mayfield also has some tricks up his sleeve.

The Lions vs The Rams

The Detroit Lions have been ferocious all season long, as they won NFC North and claimed the third seed. They will be hosting the Los Angeles Rams for a cracking game featuring QBs who know their opponents.

Earlier in 2023 in a blockbuster trade, Matthew Strafford and Jared Goff switched sides. With the return of Stafford imminent, the Lions would want to stay cautious.

The Texans vs The Browns

The Houston Texans claimed the 4th seed position as they got the home advantage against the 6th seed Cleveland Browns. Now it will be a battle of the old guard versus the new.

A resurgent Joe Flacco has taken the league by storm, but rookie CJ Stroud is not far behind. This matchup has the potential to be a classic.

The Cowboys vs The Packers

The Dallas Cowboys will be hurting to miss out on the bye, as they reached the 2nd seed position. However, they will host the 7th-seeded Green Bay Packers, who barely scraped through the regular season.

Dak Prescott will be looking to end his trophy drought this year, by taking on the Packers first. At the same time, QB Jordan Love has filled up big boots and vows to showcase his talent on the big stage.
