Here is the latest on the Falcons & Bears’ discussion over Fields!

The Falcons seem committed to improving their quarterback position, exploring all possibilities. During Tuesday’s discussion at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, Falcons head coach Raheem Morris mentioned he might not be with Atlanta if the team had secured the right QB in 2023. This means they are up for a change. So, will the following change be Justin Fields from Chicago? Amidst his trading news, a recent report by Dov Kleiman on his official X account suggests that “the #Falcons are emerging as the No. 1 trade option for Justin Fields, per @NBCSBears.”

Also, the “Falcons have contacted the Bears about Fields and want to get a deal done.” The Atlanta Falcons desperately need a quarterback, and by trading for Fields, they could avoid the rookie situation for the 2024 season. Fields, who is originally from Georgia, would find Atlanta to be a suitable team. The Falcons boast a powerful defense and a plethora of offensive weapons, making it a favorable situation for Fields.

However, let’s not forget that despite not following the Bears and NFL on his Instagram, Fields has shown interest in staying with his first team.

Justin Fields wants to stay with the Bears?

Some days ago, reports came out suggesting that Justin Fields had unfollowed the Bears and NFL’s official account on Instagram. It was speculated that this move was due to his disappointment with the team for not retaining him for the next season. However, Fields has a different opinion. Explaining his interest in staying back with the team, Fields revealed the reasons he unfollowed the Bears and the league on social media.

The 24-year-old QB said, “Why do people take social media so serious? I still mess with the Bears, this and that. I’m just trying to take a little break. I unfollowed the Bears and the NFL. I’m not just trying to have football on my timeline. It’s something that I don’t want to see on my timeline. I’m about to go on vacation. I don’t want to see no football.” Fields said he was tired of listening to his draft news and rumors of Caleb Williams taking over. Therefore, he unfollowed the Bears and the NFL on IG to take a break. Fields further continued, “Of course I want to stay. I can’t see myself playing in another place. But if it was up to me, I would want to stay in Chicago. I love the city. The city’s lit. The fans there are great, and the people. It’s a business. I ain’t got no control over it; whatever happens, happens.

Fields and his teammate DJ Moore want him to stay with the team; however, it seems challenging to accept now.
