31. Tennessee Titans (1-4)

Last Week’s Ranking: 32

Week 5 Result: 22-21 win at Cardinals

PFF Rankings: Offense 30th, Defense 19th

Week 6 Matchup: Sunday, 4:05 pm at Raiders

The Tennessee Titans avoid dead last ranking after getting their first win of the season over the Arizona Cardinals. It took a couple crazy fumbles to get the job done, but they capitalized on the opportunity. Don’t get too comfortable Brian Callahan, your seat is still red hot.

30. Miami Dolphins (1-4)

Last Week’s Ranking: 30

Week 5 Result: 27-24 loss at Panthers

PFF Rankings: Offense 25th, Defense 32nd

Week 6 Matchup: Sunday, 1 pm vs Cowboys

The Miami Dolphins fumbled a 17-0 lead over the Carolina Panthers to lose in embarrassing fashion. Fortunately for them, there wasn’t much room to move down with the Jets and Titans below them. Mike McDaniel’s seat is hot, and it would be surprising if he’s not gone by the end of the year.

29. Las Vegas Raiders (1-4)

Last Week’s Ranking: 26

Week 5 Result: 40-6 loss at Colts

PFF Rankings: Offense 17th, Defense 30th

Week 6 Matchup: Sunday, 3:05 pm vs Titans

The Las Vegas Raiders just got destroyed by the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, so they receive a pretty significant drop in the power rankings. Geno Smith has thrown at least one interception in all but one game this year, and there doesn’t seem to be much hope for the Raiders this season.

28. Cleveland Browns (1-4)

Last Week’s Ranking: 27

Week 5 Result: 21-17 loss to Vikings (London)

PFF Rankings: Offense 31st, Defense 1st

Week 6 Matchup: Sunday, 1 pm at Steelers

The Cleveland Browns started rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel this week, and he looked pretty good against Brian Flores‘ defense. He threw two touchdowns, but once the Vikings figured him out, he couldn’t do much of anything in the second half, which allowed the Vikings to comeback and win.

27. New York Giants (1-4)

Last Week’s Ranking: 21

Week 5 Result: 26-14 loss at Saints

PFF Rankings: Offense 29th, Defense 11th

Week 6 Matchup: Thursday, 8:15 pm vs Eagles

The New York Giants got a big win over the Los Angeles Chargers last week, but followed it up with a loss to the 0-4 Saints on Sunday. Jaxson Dart and the offense turned the ball over five times in the loss, and after scoring a touchdown on their first two possessions, didn’t score for the rest of the day.

26. New Orleans Saints (1-4)

Last Week’s Ranking: 28

Week 5 Result: 26-14 win vs Giants

PFF Rankings: Offense 28th, Defense 20th

Week 6 Matchup: Sunday, 1 pm vs Patriots

The Saints got their first win of the season over the Giants on Sunday, but they’ve been competitive in multiple games, which is why they’re the second-highest ranked 1-4 team.

25. Cincinnati Bengals (2-3)

Last Week’s Ranking: 25

Week 5 Result: 37-24 loss vs Lions

PFF Rankings: Offense 32nd, Defense 28th

Week 6 Matchup: Sunday, 4:25 pm at Packers

The Cincinnati Bengals were competitive without Joe Burrow for the first time this season. The Lions still won the game by 13, but the Bengals offense had some semblance of a pulse. They remain at No. 25 despite the loss.

24. Carolina Panthers (2-3)

Last Week’s Ranking: 29

Week 5 Result: 27-24 win vs Dolphins

PFF Rankings: Offense 20th, Defense 22nd

Week 6 Matchup: Sunday, 1 pm vs Cowboys

The Panthers erased a 17-point deficit to comeback and beat the Dolphins, 27-24 at home. Bryce Young looked good, and Rico Dowdle rushed for 206 yards with Chuba Hubbard out. Things are looking up in Carolina.

23. Arizona Cardinals (2-3)

Last Week’s Ranking: 23

Week 5 Result: 22-21 loss vs Titans

PFF Rankings: Offense 26th, Defense 23rd

Top Stories

Week 6 Matchup: Sunday, 1 pm at Colts

The Cardinals lost in embarrassing fashion after two crazy fumbles gave the Titans a chance to win it late. It feels like they should’ve fallen a few spots, but it’s hard to justify putting any of the teams below them any higher.

22. Baltimore Ravens (1-4)

Last Week’s Ranking: 16

Week 5 Result: 44-10 loss vs Texans

PFF Rankings: Offense 12th, Defense 29th

Week 6 Matchup: Sunday, 1 pm vs Rams

Even though the Baltimore Ravens were missing a ton of players, this was a horrible loss. The Houston Texans whooped up on them pretty good and just ran the Ravens out of town. What was once a great defense is slowly falling apart.

21. Chicago Bears (2-2)

Last Week’s Ranking: 16

Week 5 Result: Bye

20. Dallas Cowboys (2-2-1)

Last Week’s Ranking: 22

Week 5 Result: 37-22 win at Jets

PFF Rankings: Offense 5th, Defense 31st

Week 6 Matchup: Sunday, 1 pm at Panthers

The Dallas Cowboys beat the brakes off the Jets in a game that wasn’t as close as the score indicated. It was a dominant win, but their defense still needs to prove it can play well for 60 minutes.

19. Minnesota Vikings (3-2)

Last Week’s Ranking: 20

Week 5 Result: 21-17 win vs Browns (London)

PFF Rankings: Offense 24th, Defense 14th

Week 6 Matchup: Bye

The Minnesota Vikings went to London and got a gritty victory over the Dillon Gabriel-led Browns. It wasn’t the cleanest of victories, but winning in London is never easy, so credit where credit is due.

18. Atlanta Falcons (2-2)

Last Week’s Ranking: 15

Week 5 Result: Bye

PFF Rankings: Offense 10th, Defense 18th

Week 6 Matchup: Monday, 7:15 pm vs Bills

Much like the Bears, the Atlanta Falcons were a casualty of the bye week. The neither won nor lost, but fell three spots due to the movement of other teams in a similar spot.

17. Houston Texans (2-3)

PFF Rankings: Offense 16th, Defense 7th

Week 6 Matchup: Bye

The Texans earned a massive 44-10 victory over the beat up Ravens on Sunday afternoon, which launched them six spots in our latest power rankings. They have the best defense in the league right now, they just need to offense to keep playing like it did last weekend.

15. Kansas City Chiefs (2-3)

Last Week’s Ranking: 8

Week 5 Result: 31-28 loss at Jaguars

PFF Rankings: Offense 14th, Defense 10th

Week 6 Schedule: Sunday, 8:30 pm vs Lions

The Kansas City Chiefs had everything going for them in this game. They got a goal line stop, which could’ve been overturned for a touchdown, and got an interception on a clear pass interference that wasn’t called, and still couldn’t win. We’re done protecting the Chiefs in these power rankings. Until they start winning, they’ll keep sliding.

14. Los Angeles Chargers (3-2)

Last Week’s Ranking: 7

Week 5 Result: 27-10 loss vs Commanders

PFF Rankings: Offense 15th, Defense 8th

Week 6 Matchup: Sunday, 1 pm at Dolphins

The Chargers looked great to start the year, but have dropped back-to-back games to the Giants and Commanders. They’re a bit beat up in the trenches, which has certainly played a roll in both losses, but until they start winning, they’re going to keep sliding.

13. Washington Commanders (3-2)

Last Week’s Ranking: 13

Week 5 Result: 27-10 win at Chargers

Last Week’s Ranking: 9

Week 5 Result: 38-35 loss vs Buccaneers

PFF Rankings: Offense 1st, Defense 11th

Week 6 Matchup: Sunday, 1 pm at Jaguars

The Seattle Seahawks duked it out with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon, and just lost because of a costly late interception from Sam Darnold. It was a thriller of a game, and they shouldn’t be too penalized for that loss.

9. Los Angeles Rams (3-2)

Last Week’s Ranking: 4

Week 5 Result: 26-23 loss vs 49ers

PFF Rankings: Offense 2nd, Defense 3rd

Week 6 Matchup: Sunday, 1 pm at Ravens

The Los Angeles Rams lost a hard-fought game against a beat up San Francisco 49ers team. If San Fran was healthy, they wouldn’t be punished too much, but they were without a lot of weapons, and the Rams still couldn’t get it done.

8. Denver Broncos (3-2)

Last Week’s Ranking: 18

Week 5 Result: 20-17 win vs Eagles

PFF Rankings: Offense 19th, Defense 15th

Week 5 Result: 26-23 win at Rams

PFF Rankings: Offense 8th, Defense 21st

Week 6 Schedule: Sunday, 4:25 pm at Buccaneers

PFF Rankings: Offense 23rd, Defense 5th

Week 6 Matchup: Sunday, 1 pm vs Seahawks

The Jacksonville Jaguars pulled off an incredible win over the Chiefs on Monday night, which launches them seven spots in the Week 6 power rankings. Liam Coen has this offense rolling, and their defense has played solid complimentary football to start the year. Watch out for the Jags, because they’re serious contenders.

5. Indianapolis Colts (4-1)

Last Week’s Ranking: 6

Week 5 Result: 40-6 win vs Raiders

Last Week’s Ranking: 1

Week 5 Result: 21-17 loss vs Broncos

PFF Rankings: Offense 13th, Defense 6th

Week 6 Matchup: Thursday, 8:15 pm at Giants

The Eagles offensive issues continued in their 21-17 loss to the Broncos. They couldn’t get anything going on the ground or through the air in the second half, and the Broncos took full advantage. They need to work some kinks out, but are still one of the best teams in the NFL.

2. Buffalo Bills (4-1)

Last Week’s Ranking: 3

Week 5 Result: 23-20 loss vs Patriots

PFF Rankings: Offense 3rd, Defense 24th
