The Kansas City Chiefs were able to make their way to the Super Bowl for the 4 time in the last 5 seasons. While the game was an uphill battle for Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens, Patrick Mahomes has a different story to tell the world. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce appeared to be on top of the world as the Chiefs celebrated the road game victory, edging closer to carving new history.

However, the end of this game brought forth a sense of camaraderie between the Ravens QB and their star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. The painful loss was accompanied by emotional scenes on the sidelines, witnessing the WR extending his support and consolation to the QB1.

A video from Ari Meirov is floating on X, captioned, “Odell Beckham Jr. comforting Lamar Jackson after a magical season falls short.” The video shows the Ravens’ receiver hugging and consoling Lamar Jackson, who looked utterly disheartened after a brutal defeat in the AFC championship game. Beckham in the clip appeared to be saying words of consolation to Jackson, while the QB kept listening to him with teary eyes.

Toward the end of the game, Lamar Jackson started getting frustrated and at some points thrashed his helmet to the ground. After mounting a dune of fouls, some fumbles, and interceptions the Ravens had to watch their Super Bowl dream end in a rather unfortunate situation. Now that the Ravens fell short of their Super Bowl dreams, they will have a lot of time to watch the tapes and come back with a stronger game plan for the next season.

Jackson was sacked 4 times in a single game. The Chiefs’ defense pressured him so much that he didn’t have time to find the pocket or make accurate passes. They only scored 1TD in the first quarter, thanks to Zay Flowers. Apart from that, just a mere field goal was afforded by the Ravens against the on-point Chiefs defense. And Jackson came out with a 54.1% pass completion rate, not exactly playoff stats for a team with the Ravens’ reputation.

As for Patrick Mahomes, he is set to enjoy the night with the gang! The members of the celebration undoubtedly included a special moment between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, and the family members of the stars gracing the football field.

One take at a time

Basketball has stuck with me ever since I was a kid. I remember watching Kobe Bryant sometime in 2008 and being blown away. Like every kid my age, I was utterly taken aback by his moves and abilities as an athlete.
