The Philadelphia Eagles’ fans are pretty divided during the 2024 season because of the controversial tactical calls by the head coach and some questionable plays by the quarterback.

The viewers have pointed fingers at both Nick Sirriani and Jalen Hurts after each match to criticize them for their mistakes. While Sirriani has owned up to his shortcomings, he laughs at those who call out his QB.
Despite heading into the fourth game with a 2-1 trail, fans don’t seem too satisfied with the team. As the head coach for the Eagles, Nick tried defending Jalen by appreciating his presence on the roster.

“I just see him [Jalen Hurts] consistently come to work, be the same guy every single day. He worked so hard to continue to get better,” said the infamous coach. “He is a winner. With the record that he has, I laugh a little bit at the criticism.”

Nick Sirriani seemed drunk on respect for the QB in question. He further added, “He has just done such a good job of being able to block out anything. Praise, criticism, to be able to not eat the poison of that.”

The head coach pulled out a reverse card on the critics and lashed out at how easy it is to point out the bad plays when there have also been some good ones.
Unfortunately for the head coach, he is already on the radar, and not in a good way.

Jalen Hurts’ statement caused Sirriani some serious trouble
A few days back, the signal caller of the Birds released a statement claiming that the team is in a collective identity crisis. Hurts claimed that, as a team, the Eagles can’t really define their identity yet.
This was a confusing statement for some. However, a former NFL did the honors of translating this “football talk to people talk”. This is when he came up with the possibility that Hurts wanted to get rid of Sirriani.

According to Greg Jennings, retired footballer, Hurts was probably thinking, “Man I don’t know what this dude is doing. I don’t know what this guy is doing,” with regards to his head coach.
