Offense Lets the Pats Down Yet Again as They Create Unwanted Record With Their 3rd Straight Loss

The New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Chargers bout might just be dubbed as one of the most disappointing games of the season. Not for the league, but for the Patriots as a whole. Seems like the team has strayed further and further from the ‘Patriots Way’. The Chargers game ended in a dismal 6-0 win in the LA team’s favor.
A tweet from Boston Sports Info pointed out something interesting about the Patriots’ offense that is somewhat of a pattern at this point. Of course, there are some stats about losses. Bill Belichick might soon be looking for a new job, as it is evident that at this point, neither the Pats nor Belichick have a future with each other. The offense is so bad that it seems like just about any team can come into the Gillette Stadium and knock the lights off this New England team.

For a lot of reasons, this New England team suffers and is easily one of the worst-rated offenses this season. Firstly, their offensive injuries just keep piling up. Secondly, there is an ongoing issue with the team’s performance, from sacks to interceptions to fumbles; their gruesome nightmares are coming true. In the last 3 games the Patriots have played, they haven’t been able to score more than 10 points. They lost to the Chargers without scoring a single point, not even a field goal!

just a miserable offense

Safe to say that the Patriots’ offense is in shambles right now. Mac Jones was replaced by Bailey Zappe, but that didn’t make much of a difference. He was sacked six times and only passed for 141 yards in this game. With only 13 out of his 25 passes completed, whether other offensive pieces of the Patriots are doing well or not is a looming question.

The Patriots are struggling to get a grip
With the receivers Kendrick Bourne and Demario Douglas out, along with Rhamondre Stevenson suffering a leg injury, there is not much that the team can do right now. However, there is always next season to look out for. If the Patriots overhaul the whole team, that is.
There is a real chance that Bill Belichick might not be a part of the Patriots in the following season and with him, the Patriots Way might come to an end. What do you think about the Pats and their future with Bill Belichick? Let us know below.
