While Travis Hunter has started the 2025 season modestly for the Jacksonville Jaguars, his wife, Leanna Lenne, has completed a year of a rather significant change in her life. Being a social media influencer, she was exposed to a lot of cyberbullying and negativity in her life, but she has finally found growth and peace. And this journey started about a year ago with her transformation through her faith.

On September 19, she posted a story on her official Instagram account about almost completing the Holy Bible in one year. “Well done!” read the screenshot she shared. “You’ve now read through the whole Old Testament chronologically! You’ve journeyed through rich stories, deep wisdom, and God’s faithfulness to His people through every season.”
“You’ve laid a strong foundation in understanding His promises and character. As you prepare to enter the New Testament, may your heart be open to seeing these promises fulfilled in amazing ways. Keep going, you’re on an incredible journey!” And towards the very bottom, she wrote, “Officially done with the Old Testament!! 🥹 Bible in a year almost complete!”

For the unversed, the Bible has two testaments, the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament contains 39 books and documents events from creation up to Jesus’ birth. The New Testament comprises 27 books, detailing Jesus’ life, his teachings, and the early Christian church. Completing even a single testament is an achievement for anyone.

And she has brought forth that achievement by changing spiritually in the last six months, describing a powerful transformation in her life. She often speaks about growing into a strong woman through God’s guidance. Having read portions of the Bible earlier, she had already developed a strong belief in Jesus. She has even expressed her gratitude to the Almighty many times, and her love story with Hunter is also rooted in faith. Leanna once revealed how she saw him as an answered prayer: “I would always pray that God would give me a reason to keep moving forward. And you were his answer.”

In fact, her embarking on his journey has Hunter playing a massive role, as she detailed, “Me and him pray every single night and that he will go first round and to see this like gonna happen and come true and prayers have been answered.” And it was her husband who taught her to be “resilient” and believe in herself and not listen to what people had to say regarding whatever they had to say about her and her work after she was subjected to constant criticism online.
Backlashes made her stronger
This wasn’t the first time Leanna had been vocal about her achievement for her faith. Earlier in July, she shared a tearful video on TikTok preaching about the higher power and its impact on her growth. In the emotional clip, she wrote, “I wish I could go back and hug December me, because oh baby, God was about to change your heart in the most important and beautiful way. I don’t even recognize the girl anymore.”

This video was part of a longer caption that described how her life changed after she truly started following her faith. “The amount you can grow and develop in just 6 months of devoting your life to Jesus… is truly astounding,” she added. While this message drew many heartfelt acknowledgments, some mocked her for crying and discussing her religious beliefs publicly.

Clips from her video were shared on social media without full context, and many people misunderstood what she meant. Instead of inspiring others as she had hoped, the video drew a lot of criticism and negative reactions.
Despite the online attacks, Leanna has not been defensive or responded with anger. Instead, she continues to focus on her faith and the journey she’s on. “Your identity in Him matters, not how people choose to perceive you,” she wrote, mentioning that her strength comes from within, not public approval. And since then, it’s only been an upward journey for her.
